SMS Janitor:
1. Looks for messages in the following formats:
- XY-ABCDEF, e.g., DM-HDFCBK, LM-ICICIB
- 5888, 53000 and other shortcodes
- Vodafone, Airtel, BSNL, and other messages from operators.
2. Extracts them from your inbox, and stores them separately in it's own janitorial inbox, which looks a lot like the stock Android messaging app.
3. You can read and restore the message threads whenever you want.
It leaves your SMS inbox delightfully fresh, smelling of friends and family, instead of stinky corporations and annoying spammers. But if you do need to refer to those messages, they're just a touch away.
PS: SMS Janitor does not take permissions to access the internet, it's just a lowly blue-collar worker. So don't worry about your privacy. (Sorry NSA.)

Every thing is fine . Developer can add one more thing by adding backup to this to Gmail /SD card so that in case of Mobile format ,one can download the backup file from Gmail/SD card and restore all the message which are required

well..not really, but it did get rid of all those junk sms...and stores them seperately. Good for my flight sms from Indigo.. Just dont shove ads down my throat for this. Cheers!

Great app. Keeps my SMS inbox clean. One customization - can the moved messages have the option of being sorted by date? That would help to check on the latest ones, when required.

I've been using it for a while and I can say it works as advertised. Keeps unnecessary messages out of your inbox without actually deleting them. Indespensible if you get a lot of alert and spam messages like I do.
