Cueva Chufín

Esta aplicación está pensada para aquellas personas que estén interesadas en una futura visita a la cueva de Chufín (comarca de Saja-Nansa, Cantabria) a título individual o, también, para ayudar a maestros y alumnos a preparar la visita a la cueva como una actividad escolar. La cueva de Chufín alberga uno de los santuarios de arte rupestre cántabros que han sido considerados Patrimonio Mundial por la calidad y singularidad de sus representaciones.
Aunque la cueva conserva restos de diferentes épocas, el momento mejor representado es el periodo Solutrense durante el Paleolítico Superior hasta el punto que los especialistas que la han estudiado la consideran uno de los mejores yacimientos de este periodo de Cantabria. Así pues, aunque esto no significa que no se pueda hacer referencia a periodos anteriores y posteriores, el peso de la narración estará centrado en este momento.
El contenido desarrollado en esta aplicación la convierte en una potente herramienta pedagógica para la comprensión del arte rupestre del Paleolítico Superior en un doble sentido. Por un lado enseña a "leer" los grabados y pinturas que alberga Chufín (en el sentido de saber identificar las representaciones y de poder interpretarlas) y, por otro lado, facilita la exploración del entorno de la cueva para mostrar las claves del modo de vida de la población que habitó en Chufín hace 17.000 años, con el objetivo de que este conocimiento ayude a comprender el complejo y en muchos casos enigmático significado del arte rupestre. This application is intended for those who are interested in a future visit to the cave Chufín (county of Saja-Nansa, Cantabria) individually or also to help teachers and students to prepare for the visit to the cave as a school activity.
