FileLinx PRO-Direct File Share

Loved using it before, would have given a 4 or 5 if desktop software was still accessable. Really bummer!

It began to notify that I haven't purchased version and my license isn't valid although I bought it several years ago. And I even not allowed to purchase it again at google play, cuz it's already purchased :)

Excellent app, great support. After a few minor issues, which were quickly resolved by fast support I was up and running fetching and printing computer files from my nexus 7 tablet that were on my office computer.

This developer is the best never gives up. I purchased the program and couldn't get it up and running. He never gave up on me. Runs perfect. Thanks

I sent their tech support an email for two different issues. They were able to respond to them within a few hours and diagnose/resolve my problem. Application does what is says its suppose to do.

Amazing app does everything it says. Easy to set up for everyone- experienced users will find a breeze. Novices will find instructions from the fileLinx website easy to follow with written and video setup guide, don't worry about what the terms mean just follow each step. If all android tablets came with FileLinx PRO-PC direct the worlds largest electronic fruit vendors would have even more to fear from android!

This app works perfect. Setup was a breeze. This is a must have app for tablet owners - Galaxy Tab 10.1

Is there a way to stream music/movies without the need to copy first?

Good app. Although, ZumoCast was much better, where you could preview the files BEFORE downloading them, that way you could make sure you were fetching the right one before using data for the wrong file. Filelinx, please update! I've wasted data already by fetching wrong files, we really should be able to preview first, especially pictures.

This app allows me to connect to several of my PC's no matter where I am. My home desktop, my work desktop, and a home server ( which is really an old PC with big external hard drives attached). I never have to worry if I have the file I need. just open FileLinx and fetch it. I travel a lot, so being able to get at files from anywhere is important. FileLinx Pro works flawlessly. I even fetch movies. I have been using my husband's FileLinx Pro for a few years now and it keeps getting better. They just revised their free server ( you have to buy the app), so setup includes a "wizard" making configuration a matter of minutes. With Auto Link I can add a new server connection ( FileLinx Pro accepts 10) within seconds to my tablet. I read the previous review and whew! Don't know what her problem is, maybe some folks should not be allowed near tech devices. The support is wonderful. I had a couple of questions about the new server and they got right back to me. They actually seemed to like answering questions...unlike a lot of other companies out there. Bottom line: if you want to always have your files at your fingertips no matter where you are...FileLinx pro is the answer.

I got this app a while ago. About 2 years to be exact. The continuous development for ease of use in using the interface is great. I have 6 computers using this app in my home I was very new to accessing my router let alone port forwarding . The tech support I spoke with on the phone was BEYOND HELPFUL in getting me setup (every last computer) more importantly he taught me about the basics of networking. Having people to make these apps and a working knowledge of computers will save you hundreds of dollars in all aspects of life. Great app thanks it just keeps getting better !!!!!!!!! No cloud makes it a bigger +++++ file is actually on your device not like a stream !!

Horrible. Biggest waste of money. Hard to use, overly sensitive.

After 2 weeks of trying to get it up and working on my Razr Maxx HD with no help or not even a reply from the 3 support contacts made, the app works great and functions nice, still has an occasional app stop working issue and force closes, but no big deal, it's rare. Only improvements that would make this a GRAND SLAM app, would the ability to be able to select multiple files (instead of one at a time) and to be able to setup a auto upload feature like Motocast had. Other than the lack of customer support (in my case) the app is fantastic.

Great developers here. Glad to have an app that doesn't rely on the cloud. Haven't had it long enough to have much practical experience transferring files though expect it to be good.

Enables me to access files without worrying about my info getting stored on anyone's server. Not flawless and a little pricey but works good on the HTC Rezound.

Work wonders. I don't have to worry if I forgot any files from PC every time I travel abroad for work. Good work developer.

Does what they say. And very quick customer support. Would be nice though to have a status bar on android device so can see progress on file transfer to and from computers.

I bought the app yesterday, configured today and then tested it. I tested: send, fetch, print and delete. Everything is perfect, live is good!

Worked right out of the box with very little need for the excellent manual. Does exactly as described with greater ease than anticipated. The user's guide went beyond obligation and included a delightful discussion on networking at an introductory level. Hats off to the technical writer(s) for providing documentation which could be used in a classroom for the learning disabled!
