Hurricane Hound for Android
This used to be my go-to hurricane app but I find myself using others more often this season. The main problem is only using periodic symbols and not connecting the "dots" with lines. In a season such as 2017 when hurricanes are playing loop de loop and criss-crossing each other's paths, it's almost impossible to tell what's happening. Also, if the cloud cover layer is turned on, it takes forever to fill in. Usually I am done using the app before the full cloud cover has filled the screen. I've pretty much given up on that feature.
Not working very good on samsung7 freezes and doesn't load cloud cover etc this is a paid version not very impressed
The best looking hurricane tracking app I have seen. It has it all.
Uninstalling soon, worthless lately
Currently not updating tracking
Does everything I can see that you would need.
Kind of lame . If I could I would of asked for a refund. Satellite maps do not show movement.
No longer updating current tropical activity. It's about 3 advisories behind.
Does everything I can see that you would need.
Used to be very good but now extremely sluggish. LG G4
Would be better if computer models would show for the storm as claimed it would. Especially if your paying for the app.
Absolutely love the app. Didn't even really need much of the features of the non-free version, but wanted to support what you're doing, keep it up! BTW, would be amazing to see a notifications feature in a potential future release! Would love to be notified any time a new storm forms or upgrades!
Works perfectly ,2 out of 5 times. The other nothing just a grid thats all.
With the latest update that fixes the "areas of interest" not showing, this is back to being the best hurricane app around. No app comes close.
Cal
No updates for the Atlantic! I have emailed support, 3 days ago, and have gotten no response. This used to be a great app but now it is terrible! Dont waste your money!
Iselle and Julio not visible near Hawaii with red lettered "no active storms" on page. good thing I'm not relying on this app for my safety. installing without any possibility of a refund.
Always opens to a blank map now. Never shows any activity, even when there are tropical storms out there. Not sure why this app no longer functions. Very disappointing. :-(
What good is this app if you cannot keep up with the advisories. Fix the problem and I will give 5 stars.
Anyway to view computer models ?
Nothing great.
Superb app! A must for any weather geek. A must for those in storm prone locales. Highly recommended! EVO 2.3.3
Great app! Super simple and straight forward, and gives me all the info I want! Love it!
If you need hurricane info, there is nothing better.
Good job
I used to have the free version but bought pro. I normally don't buy apps like this, but it was accurate.
Well worth the upgrade.. The best!
Wait really. It takes 6 HOURS to get a new model fcst and it is bad towait 3 MORE!!!!!
This is the best hurricane tracking app I've found. It's not overloaded with useless feathers or permissions; it just translates NOAA data to a map quickly and easily and provides ready access to updates and alerts. Simple and beautiful.
I used the program for the first time this season after having updated both my Android devices since last year. One problem I reported for both tablet and phone was addressed within an hour. The other problem only impacted my phone and was fixed by a software update released within 24 hours!
So far so good after update
I've had this app for several years on different devices & when I got this galaxy s4 "it wasn't available". So glad y'all fixed it, just in time for hurricane season! I've even gotten my friends hooked on it. Great job!
App force closes whenever you zoom in on HTC M8, has worked for all previous phones
AWESOME! THANKS!
Awesome. Keeps getting better.
I have missed the path of hurricane Sandy as there was no update on the hurricane for 9 hours! Not worth the money and inaccurate. Computers models don't show up after showing up for a couple of hours.
Not worth the price no updates for days, removed it and got another.
Very informative
I've tried quite a few but this is the best. Keep up the good work!

It lacks one simple feature that renders it almost useless when you need it most -- When a hurricane is approaching: It doesn't tell the time the map data is based on, or at least it's not displayed anywhere obvious. Is the map 5 PM, or 11 AM? It does have spaghetti strands, and would be a 5???? if I knew when they where generated.
