About Coleshill Remembers WWI

The Coleshill Remembers WWI App will help you learn about the Great War History of the town of Coleshill, Warwickshire. The App includes the Roll of Honour with 140 of Coleshill's Casualties, news about WWI Commemoration Events, the Coleshill WWI Trail around the places that were important during the war and a way to keep in touch with all the WWI Casualty Vigil's taking place in the town during the centenary years.

Coleshill Remembers was established in 2013 to commemorate the centenary of WWI. Comprising members from across the community, Coleshill Remembers has organised a number of events to reflect upon the sacrifices made by Coleshill’s fallen and to consider what wartime life was like for the residents of this market town. We continue to coordinate a number of projects and are particularly keen to speak to anyone who has any knowledge of Coleshill during the war years.

A fantastic App which gives you a guided tour of Coleshill marking out grave's, buildings, and sites of importance in the town during WW1. Photographs of people and buildings, with accompanying information really brings the history to life. Sadly as the older generation of the town are getting older the history and stories are being lost with them. Well done Coleshill Remembers in not only preserving the information, but for bridging the technology gap which will interest the younger generation. Good job
