About St.George Global Currency Card
The St.George Global Currency Card is a reloadable prepaid Visa card used to make payments in multiple currencies, either in person or online, wherever Visa cards are accepted. You can choose from 11 currencies, locking in the exchange rate when you load funds onto the card.
It’s a simple, secure and convenient way to shop, whether online or overseas.
The mobile app helps you manage your card on the go. You can:
- View your wallet balances and transactions
- Add currency wallets
- Transfer money between your wallets, exchange money, remove wallets and change your wallet order
- Temporarily block and unblock your card
- Report lost or stolen cards and change your card PIN
- Change and reset your username and password

Realised too late that once money is loaded on card you are unable to move to any other accounts or back to your accounts, pay any bills, send transfers. Essentially your money is locked in the card forever unless you want to convert to local currency and lose 3% of whatever you exchange. Wanted to use the services of Transferwise and Revolut but this card makes it impossible. You will lose alot of money in exchange rates every time you load the card or switch between currencies. Regret getting this card.

Pity the loading is restricted to $100 initial amount followed by minimum of $50 loads! I would like to build up a balance using smaller deposits as well.

If I wasn't forced to use it I wouldn't! It is clunky & difficult to navigate. It will randomly pop up and tell you that you've been logged out due to inactivity despite having already logged out. It will log me in fine then tell me my username and password are invalid when I try to make a transaction. Using this app is so unpleasant I think I'll change cards!

Difficultly logging in every time!! Doesnt recognise password. Why no 4 digit pin instead? No intuitiveness about it. Kept getting error msg for simple functions. Basic layout but difficult to do more then the basic 'manage wallets' ir 'exchange'. Constant glitches and 'under development'. Shame because card has so many benefits others dont. Ridiculous it takes 10days to bank transfer money out of acc. Also- the HELP section lacks. And an alert/ notification for rate changes would be good.
