Compail - email app for Android
This is a real lifesaver. Very easy to use, and very relevant.
needs data compression to be perfect. I'm looking forward to that and I'm ready to give it 5 stars if implemented
But...only one account...??

The folders allow the ability to go through multiple accts quickly based on whatever criteria. Extremely useful and time saving. Developer extremely responsive and added advance to next msg, previous, or list in hours...update out soon. Plus said is working on msg formatting. $1.36 for a couple accounts is chump change for the time saved. Love it!!! Txs
I love Compail-email a
great concept! Works beautifully. Looks awesome and no ads!! :D but y only 1 Account? I have 3 addresses I check regularly and I can only have 1? Will give 5* when multi account support is added! Great app tho!

Missing exchange activesync..
After downloading your email app my phone froze and then smoke started pouring out. You fryed my phone. Your app sucks.
Sleek looking, really slow on refresh
But...only one account...??
The app definitely needs some work but the developer is very active and open to suggestions so this app is going to get a lot better.

Can't add but one account
Doesn't work with qmail-basen smtp starttls server. Says protocol error.
Responsive customer service, making tailored updates and fixing issues.Nice aesthetic and modern look.Filtering to boxes works well although setup isnt too sophisticated.Problems with widget not updating plus should be "empty box" button there. Somehow slow to update email server.Would be 5star if it could empty some boxes automatically.
Could not get it to accept username and password gave up on the end, sorry. Have updated my review because I wanted to say this guy tried to help me, and he tried everything to get my one account to work. Even though it didn't, I still recommend using this app.....well worth it. Thank you. Please don't give up on this app, read the Help....it's well worth it....
Can't use emails that were set up previously
Radically simple, promising!
I would like the filtering to be a little better, including recipient, for example, and this would be awesome.
Couldn't even get my Gmail to auto set
Lovely design. I've been using the app for over a week now, still have not been able to figure out where the "Sent Items" are. Hope the developer could help on this one

I installed Compail so I could try to connect to an older POP account that I sometimes use. I could not get it to work, and when I tired to write an email it would crash. I emailed the developer, and he was very help and kind. I wound up re-installing the app and that fixed the crashing. I tried another email app and had the same problem with this account. It's my clunky old POP3 account and not this app. Thank you Rudy for all the help you gave me in figuring this out.
Once you realize the advantages of it filters you will see how it is different from other emails. Unfortunately, documentation and setup does not highlight these features. I was ready to uninstall and trash the review when I realized this feature. My 2 star, though, is influenced by unfriendly setup and very slow update vs other email apps. It is slow moving between emails and updating email database. If you read Dripple and expect a gmail inbox Like automatic setup then you will be disappointed.

As a huge fan of the Gmail app, I instantly fell in love with Compail. However I have several accounts and having to pay $1.30 for each account really adds up. If it were a reasonable flat fee I'd jump on board in an instant.
Best client to use with hotmail for me. Somewhat slow when opened through notifications.

Seems to do the job but doesn't seem to support IMAP folders which will get this uninstalled.
Looks promising, but never got it working. Only crashes.
.... I miss my sent folder And drafts folder. Gmail Threading would also be nice
After setting up my email, I was able to send an email but it would not download any email at all, so totally useless. And a few typos in the interface.
The "boxes" concept makes a great Gmail replacement app. Now, instead of weeding thru spam, endless eBay stuff, (Every transaction generates at least a dozen emails) "special offers" etc. etc. all dumped into one big in-box, relevant mails are organized into those boxes, and the rest dumped into the history box. (The boxes create white lists) Now, eBay, your boss, friends, family, have their own box, and as mails come in, the count goes up on their box, making for an instant at-a-glance update as to who from. If the history box count only increases, it's unimportant crap. Boxes use contact photos, and you can add more than one email to each box. (I have some friends with a half dozen different email addys) Also: you can create boxes with subject or body texts for organizing incoming mails. One feature lacking in some email apps: setting an incoming size limit. Have an acquaintance who constantly sends unwanted (and huge downloads) joke garbage? Set the size to 10k, 50k, or 200k and if you want to see it, download the rest of the message. Unlike K9, you can pinch zoom emails that contain graphics and photos. Best of all, NO ADS!!
