Put.io

Unfortunately I can only cast some videos to Chromecast. Some work, some there is video but no sound and some won't work at all. But all videos stream fine from laptop to Chromecast. Wanted this to work because it's such a hassle to get out the laptop to start a show other than my phone or tablet. Please fix.

Very useful app, but latest version seems to have issues with sound when streaming to Chromecast. Have tried several videos, all stream to Chromecast fine from put.io web frontend, but no audio when streaming from this app. Used to work OK, so must be a recent bug/issue.

Most things Chromecast. Only things that don't is due to the Chromecast not supporting the file format, no fault of this app.

If you use put.io. then you need to use this app.

Awesome app!!!! But would love to be able to share videos with a friend from the app. As of now I have to use the putio web page to do this.

App is good enough to be charged for, with a fluid UI, Constant Support, and consistent speed. I don't think you get the recognition you deserve Steven.

Got the app to stream from put.io to my chromecast. Client helps me link to and download files perfectly but has constant issues in streaming to the chromecast. So much so that i frequently have to switch to my ipad to stream.

But I will not be trying it. Understandably so since the service costs money I don't care to spend at this time to try it out. If it said that in the description it would have saved all of us some time. Hopefully someone else will find this info useful. Thank you for your reply and updating it, looks like the developer does care and when I do have the funds will give it a try.

Used this app for several years. Lately, I find myself using other things to stream because the app now crashes constantly and either won't cast or display scrubber. Please make Put.io great again.

It's a good app, but the newest version seems to have trouble Chromecasting audio on some files that it previously could, making me regret updating. Hopefully it can be fixed soon!

Sound has stopped working on Chromecast with the last 2 releases. Same videos play fine on Chromecast through put.io website

Would it be possible to add a feature to upload files from the phone to put? Only feature I'm missing.

One of my go to apps for playing files flawlessly on my phone, android box, and Amazon Fire Tv Box (need a air mouse connected). Just AWESOME ! I've been using it for years.

All we just need is inbuilt fast download client. And we can stream straight from phone to TV.

2 years almost I've been using this site and app,love everything about it. No problems at all for me, very reliable and useful app

I have a problem with the Android TV interface. When I select a video to play, it does not automatically start playing. Instead there is a play button that can only be pressed if I plug in a mouse. Not very convenient for operating at the couch.

Are you planning to support subtitles anytime soon?
