Diary is password protected journal which is secure and safe. Diary comes with a faster and more secure AES/GCM Encryption mechanism. No other person can read anything you write, unless of course, you give them the password.
Diary encrypts the logs and saves them in Documents which can only be viewed using the Diary app, and hence keeping whatever you share with your diary safe and secure. Also, Image of the Day. Images store memories. And you can link an image to that date, keeping everything encrypted. Just pick the date, and you can view what you wrote on that day, and the image you saved.
And all this, truly free. No In-App Purchases. Install Diary with Password protection for absolutely free. Also, you don't need an internet connection to use this app. It doesn't even ask for internet permissions. Just read/write permissions are required.

It's a start, but updates are needed for this to be very useful. Please add an autosave feature. On the very first entry I wrote, I stopped to consider what to write next when the screen timed out and the whole entry evaporated into thin air. Not pleased. Would also be nice if it would automatically capitalize at the beginning of a new sentence, but the autosave is far more crucial.

The calendar donot take me to the date I choose & I am not able to see the saved entries of previous dates - simply I am not able to see what I wrote days ago; no dairy does that.

Have installed Diary, as it looks best one for me but unable to complete set up, as can't find "key" it asks for. Sorry, if I'm missing something obvious! Please advise, thank you.

after writing a whole page, i set the phone down for a minute and the screen went dark, afterwards i turned it back on to continue and everything i had written was gone. are u telling me i gotta save it each time i walk away from my phone for a few minutes or else i lose all my progress? it app is fun and i like the theme.

Just tired to test it , I wrote two lines, saved it, and closed it. But to my surprise and chagrin.....The next time I tried to open it, with the login password, it says, "unfortunately, it stopped working"!!...Imagine if I had written all my personal stuff !!. It's a very cool app, minimal in size, simple UI, neat and clean !! After spending an entire day reading the reviews of around 20 apps, I chose this app because I was convinced that it was easy and convenient to use..and my journals would be very safe !! But it has failed to impress me !! I can imagine the frustration of many reviewers, now! Pity, I have no option but to uninstall it !! Developers should put their apps through stringent testing !!..before releasing the app on the store !!. ...just for the record.... I got an immediate response from the developer, offering to rectify the problem !! That is impressive !! I wish him all the best for his dedication and efforts !!

Installed it the first time and it kept asking me to set it up every time I tryed to log in. The second time I downloaded the app it kept saying I had entered the wrong password when I only set it up 2 seconds before. Then on my final attempt with this app after downloading it for a 3rd time it remembered me but still insisted my password was wrong. Pretty gutted

Cant copy past entries. If you wrote something the day before, it would be good to be able to export it for example. The look and security are good. Thanks for your reply. A search button would be good too. Editing past entries is important to me, adding more memories to old posts etc. It would be useful if you coloured past entries to show dates with entries in them too. Over time it might be annoying to keep opening blank old pages. You can see this info from the files under diary though.
