Simply put: StepOut is a poor-man's OkCupid. Everything in StepOut is 'inspired' heavily by OkC: the long-form profiles with many criteria to provide, the questions that contribute to the compatibility algorithm as well as their set significance to the user, even the user interface as a whole! Also 'borrowed' from Oasis Dating was the inability to write users whose criteria does not match yours, and from Badoo the ability to use a social media account to verify identity publicly. StepOut fails at coming close to OkCupid seeing as it is missing two key features: the ability to sort searches by distance (near to far) and inability to sort by relationship type (short term, long term, casual encounters and friends - fields that don't even exist in StepOut!). Also, the account setup was laborious and cumbersome, with many interface issues in selecting my location, and this app integrated all of my social media contacts without asking me in order to 'invite them' with a tap: I also had to grant it permission to modify my social media contacts as well: super sketchy! Messaging to others does seem free though (at least).

I signed up with my facebook, now I can't sign in.

This app is not good, many of the people are not real, fake profiles, the people nearby function does not work most of the time, and ive tried it on firefox, chrome and internet explorer, on 3 different computers, most of the time its just the spinning logo as if it is loading but it never does.... as for location, on the few times that it does actually load you select someone within 100km and it shows you people in london, yet i'm in central scotland, i literally have to choose within 50 km to get someone within 180 miles... many of the people say hi, give you their facebook page then say nothing, this happens with 90% of the people that say they like you, if you answer them they dont reply or give you the same answer they gave you in the first line, because they are bots with facebook pages, and on their page is other guys who've been lured in by this god awful app.... very dissapointed... and how come theres no really ugly people? ugly people are the majority yet most of the women on this app are above average to very good looking..... because its fake, i dont know how they profit from this, prolly the promise of investment for x amount of users, this is easy to see through...

Doesn't ever get past the blank white screen when I open the app so don't know what it its supposed to do. Can't add a pic, camera shows file manager. Agggh

Who make these junk apps. Camera doesn't launch camera app, it list gallery, file manager but can't add from them. Instagram shows fetching ...nothing happens after 2-3 minutes.

At least I have tried more than 100 times by all modes of uploading profile photo but it doesn't happened.better don't download this worst app.

Problem in exit from software. It is not getting out after press back or logout.

Slick app but extremely limited. Provides only a slider pic. Default location is Africa Accepts only your email and a pic. Requires GPS and locates you to the accuracy of your settings. Only way to "build a profile" is to supply Facebook, so now you know why it is that Facebook keeps showing dozens of pics of people in another country( from U. S. / Europe) and asks if you know them....apps like this. If you want to build their database with your Facebook account, go for it

Most of the people are not real. Too many little issues: I tried to load multiple photos, but the site kept reloading the first photo each time I. This site could be better if the software engineers are able to fix some of these problems.

It works when I fist install it. But afterwards it never loads people near by. I have tried 4g and two of my personal wifi spots. House and other. Nothing seems to get the app to load the people nearby. Unistalling and reinstalling fixes the issue for a one time use...

If there's a place where lots of locals are searching to meet, it's here. So, why does the app show so many people in Africa and So America? Accra Ghana is not even close. You have tons of fake profiles there, yet nobody in Boston and Providence?? I'm starting to feel that Massive Media is a massive fraud.

The people nearby function seems to always be stuck "searching. " *Update... Uninstalled. Location wasn't working at all despite enabling location reporting and enabling Wi-Fi. Good luck.
