Got all 10.000 songs in one playlist, Playlist is a bit sluggish but I guess that's normal with so many files. Missing a favourite button that creates a favourite playlist when u select a playing song with the favourite button. Noticed a weird thing, u can't search on song name only on artist, that's sad for me. In my 2nd quickscan without tags it sees all files but listing in playlist is empty until you start playing a file the artist enters the playlist. Very weird, a bug I guess.

I have been looking for a simple app that can stream music from my lenovo px2d NAS to my android tablet remotely. This simple app seems to have done the job really well. I have tried others without success. Very pleased with it so far.

Has all needed options but I would suggest a new one to make it the perfect player: if possible please add an option to list tracks in player and playlist sorted by they original folder/subfolder structure in order to allow better tracking of tracks in large libraries.

When in playlist and tao add song, the dialog always crashes bringing me back to the playlist screen. Can not play what I want.

One Statement....Network BROWSER. I expect a streamline music app that I could browse to a folder on my NAS. when the software says NETWORK Audio player I expect I can browse the effen network!!! Look at how KODI does it and learn something!!!

Doesn't recognise wma files as audio! Will try a bit longer but doubtful this will cut the mustard!

Simple to use. Connects to my home server via wifi so I can play my media. Also allows you to download from network location so no need to plug my phone into the computer to update my music.

It takes so many pushes and so much navigation just to get an album playing that you may as well stream it from YouTube or download from your NAS with xplorer...

I'm liking this so far, but one caveat: album artwork doesn't seem to work. I can't find any options regarding it... Does embedded artwork function with this? I'm coming from other apps that display the artwork just fine but have no network streaming function... Can someone lend me a hand? :)

Works great playning over ftp, which seems uncommon on android.

This is the only app I've found that supports playlists over ftp. It's simple & does the job. Bought the pro version - love it!

It does allow me to stream music from my home FTP server, which is a functionality I couldn't find in any other app. However, the interface feels somewhat convoluted. I would prefer to be able to stream songs and entire folders from the network menu without having to add them to a playlist, and it should have a window that shows what's now playing on every screen that you can tap to go to the playing screen, with functionality to pause/fast forward skip instead of having to go to the Playing tab to do it.

Doesn't connect to samba share which is password protected. Other apps do, so it really isn't for those who protect their local network.

Works like a charm for me. The only audiobooks app that can really be used to listen to audiobooks from shared folders. Thank you!

Excellent concept, but fickle - frequently receive "Login Details Required" error, and can't successfully navigate by using the tree from initial root.

Works well, only snag it seems to continue playing when I receive a phone call.

Why is it so hard to find a player that just lets you assemble a playlist from multiple sources and then play it? NAP won't access my external SD card, and files added from LAN aren't sorted automatically. Playlist editing is a pain too; you have to long touch every filename individually to move them around. I can't access my a pqi AirDrive either for some reason. No thanks!

I really like this app. I am able play music from my NAS with little effort. I would have given 5 stars if the navigation is smooth. I need to do long press the folder which I want to open. Not sure this is the feature. However worth having it in my Nexus 7.need lot of improvements in managing play list. That really sucks

Being a tech, or a geek, I found this app to be just okay. Much better than I could program, but I do not see the UH-Techy having much luck. It did find my network easily, but I could not figure out how to make it search for my server. Again, not for the novice. Once I entered the IP address, then, being a geek, I was off and running. It worked very well. Therefore, if you are a pretty good geek, and like to manually setup your access, this is for you. I would not recommend this for a click and play person.

On my 3 tablets with android 4.1.1 I cannot get this thing to work on my lan. Thinking I was not doing it right, I even looked at the help file which I had never done before! Even if it worked, the lan layout is very poor. Granted I am probably more sensitive to gui design because I used to teach it but there are so many easier ways to do this more elegantly that I think the programers here went out of their way to make it clunky! It works ok for local playing but consumes too high on resources. Its outahere!

When i added a folder with 100gb of music it became sluggish and not able to play anyrhing on that folder so i disabled it but it wouldnt stop syncing no matter what i did. It was filling up my phone. No songs from the sync folder appeared in the library either. I eventually had to deinstall the whole app. My advice is dont even engage the sync app.

It has been so far the best network player IMO. But few enhancements could make it even better. I would pay for - option to mark selected songs while playing /listening to download. This way if I connect to a 10000 songs network Dir, I could selectively download songs which I like when its playing Dev please add this request and you would gain one premium user. Thanks
