Space Weather App for Android
So the latest update seems to keep crashing. I have an HTC10. Have started to send in logs. Please fix, as app info is great.
Latest update is always crashing. No alerts at all
Love what I've seen so far.. More to follow after utilizing For a spell..
a really informative app, very detailed and great visually
Bleep bloop.
I like it, lots of publicly available data all in one place.
Seems not work on huawei P9 Kirin Android OS
This is setup for the USA when it comes to uv readings but This will help me with my solar panels. Fantastic charts with a lot of information I can see a lot of hard work went into this
App needs to allow User the ability to control Alert Notifications.
The pretty good Stable Hearth
The functionality of the app is reasonably good, but the notifications are just way too frequent and somewhat cryptic. Why can't I adjust the notification frequency or just turn them completely off?
Lots of great information and a great tool. One thing that is distracting is the ability to disable notifications.
I love it.
Now its works. Awesome
Windows phone version is much better.
Now let me nitpick. It would be nice if tapping the notification sent you to the Alert instead of the Aurora forecast. It would also be great if it was possible to configure the threshold for alerts. For example: I would like to only get notifications for S6 events or greater.
Don't like the notifications in the middle of the night every night and no way to shut off the notifications. Thanks for help solving this problem
Used it on my old Windows phone. Glad to find it in the Android world as well.
A good resource for keeping up to date on current Space Weather.
The only thing I miss from WP is the Live Tile, which could be implemented as a widget.
five stars for a more intuitive interface and little more content for european users
And surely unique. But I'm missing some support for European users. At least a few places to get an idea. Furthermore it could be useful to zoom into the gfx. Last but not least I'd like to customize the app in order to set my city and set an alarm for my region instead of all those general alarms which don't mean much to me.
Good app just missing SDO data :)
Anyone who doesn't give this app 5 stars should think back to when they were much younger, when information like this took years to find, and solar pictures didn't even exist.
I have always been interested in what our sun is up to and with this app the producers have made it very clear what is happening and likely effects. Thanks guys.
Good information although I found the layout a bit frustrating initially. Either I can't find where to change the alerts or you can't. Getting alerts during the day is completely unnecessary and easily confused with texts. It would be nice to be able to have some control over when, how and tone.
You have to swipe/scroll to discover many additional pages of info under 'Browse.' Well organized. Very technical, need to refresh lots of physics & planetary/solar science, but this is exactly its draw for me. Starting out, I had to spend 90% time researching & learning, but getting more & more out of it each time. Well written embedded Help defines much terminology. Alert/warning notifications very useful.
It's a treasure trove of information. There is a lot of information here and it can be confusing but with just a little study you can really come up with some good info
Lots of great information and a great tool. One thing that is distracting is the ability to disable notifications.
Could be a little "cleaner" /more table-like on the alert sections but I LOVE the very timely audible notifications...at least you get SOME lead time and it is very educational as well...m.
Great app. Does what it says. Includes push alerts! Now I'm ready for the next Carrington Event! (Seriously, why don't they all do that? ) Five stars!
Not working despite Internet connection
Does what is says it will do.
Helpful for in the moment info about solar flares. A bit technical but rather easy to decipher with a little effort. Fairly user friendly for a layperson. Recommended if you want a free option to keep tabs on solar flares :)
Having an interest in astronomy, this is one of the best apps I've found for information about Solar activity. It provides a lot of interesting information for anyone keen to know what our Sun is doing and how it is affecting our Earth.
For what it does this is the best app that i have ever found. Thank you very much for the hard work that i realize has been done to make this app. Very nice Job and extremely useful to me. Thanks again.
Used it every day of this Aurora season.
You may need to dig into this app to get the most out of it but when you do you realize you just how well put together app this is! Perfectly usable for ham radio operators.
This will be great for my backpacking trips. I will know when I need to stay up late to catch the show.

Use to be a great app. With the latest upgrade of Android, it crashes constantly. I think with some minor developer time, it could be great again!
