About Almanacco di Roma
Dal 21 aprile del 753 a.C ai giorni nostri. Quasi tre millenni sotto forma di “almanacco”, un calendario contenente una cronologia Urbana che ripercorre la vita dei Romani attraverso la rievocazione di notizie statistiche e di cronaca, eventi naturali, avvenimenti religiosi, politici e militari, lotte di potere, edifici e monumenti, personaggi, manifestazioni, miti, leggende e tradizioni.
La storia di un anno raccontata giorno per giorno e filtrata dalla cultura della romanità, con un pizzico di nostalgia e tanta ironia.
L’anno di Roma inizia il 21 aprile (concludendosi quindi il 20 aprile) e considera quelle che sono le date “certe” degli avvenimenti susseguitisi nel corso dei lustri nella Città Eterna.
L’almanacco non vuole essere il compendio ultimo e completo dei “fatti di Roma” ma soltanto un punto di partenza, una base da arricchire con i suggerimenti, i ricordi, le ricerche di chiunque vorrà contribuire al suo perfezionamento. A tale proposito è attivo il sito www.almanaccodiroma.it in cui è presente una sezione che raccoglie le segnalazioni destinate ad integrare (o correggere) le successive edizioni del libro.

Nearly three millennia in the form of "Almanac", a calendar containing a chronology Urbana that traces the life of the Romans through the evocation of news and statistics to record, natural events, religious events, political and military power struggles, buildings and monuments, characters, events, myths, legends and traditions.
The story told by one year every day and filtered by the culture of ancient Rome, with a touch of nostalgia and a lot of irony.
The year begins on April 21 in Rome (then ending April 20) and consider what are the dates "certain" events followed one another over the decades in the Eternal City.
The almanac will not be the last and complete compendium of "facts of Rome" but only a starting point, a basis to be enriched with suggestions, memories, searches of anyone who wants to contribute to its improvement. In this connection it is active www.almanaccodiroma.it site where there is a section that collects reports designed to complement (or correct) the subsequent editions of the book.
