Cub Tracker

The app is ok. But has an issue with updating, or so it appears. It says I have the 4.0.6 ver, and that I need to update it, but there is no way to do so, in the app or the Play store. Additionally, the app should be able to email and/or text the contact number to give messages or assignments, as well as notifications of completion of achievements or other awards. It should be able to export reports/status to PDF (not sure if it can't/can tho) and email to scouts/parents. This app has a great wealth of information, but lacks tools to complete it's potential greatness. Please improve.

I really like this app. It has been great for keeping track if awards earned by the entire pack this year. Unfortunately, it will not allow me to add electives to the AOL boys. Otherwise no complaints so far. I hope this app finds someone to actively support it.

Good way to bring up missing requirements without having to have the Scout book. Now if only the My Scouting app worked half as good.

Great start on a very needed app... A couple of suggestions 1)page on boy info page for parent names, food allergies, and other 2)make it a check list under each detail of requirements. For example, under 'paws for action', it highlights ALL of requirement 1. If you just had check boxes next to each subdetail. Need this because if it's done as a den and some is assigned for 'homework', some boys may not complete it at the same time

I love the app but I'm not able to bring up the Bobcat adventures and the arrow of light required adventures aren't there they are Building a better world, camper, scouting adventure & duty to God in action. Will you be adding them soon? It would great to have them Thank for your great work.

I rated as low as I have simply because I can't get the developer to reply to messages. It appears since the last update the Bobcat requirments have been removed (which as a returning tiger leader I'd find usefull), I also inquired since so many "pilot programs" were allowed this year if lion program would be added and or special awards (summertime, outdoor ethics, outdoor activities etc). But, in it simplest form it is a great idea and a much needed tool for leaders.

It appears to contain JUST the Webelos requirements. The Arrow of Light has required and elective pins. The AoL is the only thing that bridges with the Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts to even a Scouter.

Doesn't run. No useful error, just says an error report will be sent.

Its not showing credit for electives completed. Unfortunately had to start using PM Mobile.

Only takes boys info and backup everything else is down. Seems suspicious to me.

I just wish there was a way to add fields of data to the scout info. For instance a spot for parents names as well as notes like food allergies. Just like you can on your phones contact list.

I have the new weblos book and this is a required adventure, but I don't see it on the app.

How about adding Bobcat for new scouts.

I wish this was more detailed in checking off what has been done to earn a required or elective adventure loop. This just marks it as complete :/

After the last update one of the Dens I track had the Webelos 2 (Old Program) rank, when I attempted to edit the den to the correct rank the den appeared to be deleted. I contacted the developer by email and received a prompt response. There has since been a new update and my den is back and ready for the new program year. I also track more than one den and have never had any difficulties doing so with this app.

This app is the best I've found yet to track Cubs progress. It's easy to use. What this app needs: + option to make meeting/event recurring weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and annually. + ability to select multiple Cub levels or whole pack for meeting. + track attendance of meetings and events, and make it a printable or e-mail list and individually on scouts record (also printable and e-mail). + Let leaders update records and meetings from other phones so all pack leaders app update live.

After creating dens I can only open one den name. Is this app to track multiple dens &.boys or just 1 boy in 1 den? If I can use it for more than1 den, I would rate it higher. If not I have no use for it. A spreadsheet would work better. Perhaps I just don't understand some fine point of using it but from the way I read your website, it is not intended for a leader's use but for a parent tracking their son. That would be of no use to me.

App is ok, with only exception that after I add the dens then go to add my scouts it won't let me select a den. It gives me a drop down but all it does is highlight the den but automatically puts every scout in the same den which I have set as tigers.

Is this going to be updated to reflect the new program? Also, sometimes does not record partial completion and just completes the whole achievement.

I cannot wait to see this app updated with the new requirements.

The 2 things that need changing the most is a reliable easy back up system. The second is when you generate a report on a scout for what achievement he is missing, it should list the specific subsection instead of the entire chapter. For example if the scout is missing 7b, it should only list 7b instead of just 7. That causes you to have to go back and read through his entire profile and figure it out.

I wish this app highlighted once you are done with a belt loop or achievement and highlight a different color if they are still working on it. It is handy but we have started our webelos on the new program. This doesn't have the new stuff. ...yet?

Had trouble figuring out how to add a scout. Rather than leaving a poor review, which many people do, I went the correct route (being a former app developer myself) and contacted the developer via the email link. He responded within 30 min with online documentation which stepped me through the process. His service was great and the app is helping me keep track of my boy's achievements. Highly recommend!

I really like the new navigation set up in this app, and the latest version fixed some issues from earlier versions. There's still some room for improvement, but it's good to see the developer is actively improving the app.

It is OK but if you have a partial completion, you cannot see the progress. Really makes the app useless.

Using Note 3. Cannot figure out where to add scouts... the menu graphic on the top right does not appear. Help?

It would be nice if as the pack master you could receive reports from your Den Leaders and it integrate into the Cub Masters app to keep a master report of all the different dens up to date and then the Cub Master could keep up to date. Somehow like the apps together.
