Voice Mail & SMS Text Notifier

Worked for a short time and then for no apparent reason I could barely hear the audible signal for the text reminder even though volume is as high as it goes. Need to continue my search for a good text reminder app.

completely unusable with large text enabled. Cannot read anything.

This worked great for the first week or so of use, until this morning. With no phone calls since yesterday, no voice mails, and no voice mail notification icon in the top bar, I'm getting the VM Monitor sound played every 5 minutes. I'm wondering what could be tripping it up all of a sudden. Was there just an update to the software?

Have missed loads of messages and spent hours hunting through phone settings to set up a repeat text alert on moto e 2nd gen. Didn't know such apps existed. Does exactly what I need, can personalise to number and frequency needed. Can even set time when no alerts wanted. No more missed messages!!

Total pain in the ass piece of junk

I had been searching high and low for an app that would allow repeat notifications since I use Google Voice for texting/voice mail. This is the only one out there that works! The only thing is to make sure in the settings you utilize the "Trigger from Notification Bar Icon" and select GV. Now I will never miss an important text again. Thank you, Steep Canyon!

Now, if I could just find a way to purchase the upgrade for GPS phone finder I would be even happier :-)

Works fine on my CDMA EVO 3D flashed to StraightTalk, running a modified stock ICS ROM. Probably going to buy the paid version just because I love seeing free, no-ad apps! (though open-source is even better)

I use this text and voicemail notification app numerous times a day and it works perfectly every time. It can be fully customized to suit individual needs. The customer support is excellent - I had a problem when I switched phones and the developer worked with me until it was solved. This app should be included in every Android operating system.

Works good.Somehow got over rode by Verizon's text client update ,won't give repeated notifications as of now.A work in progress.

Great app. Now if I miss a text or voicemail, this app let's me know. Just one problem... If I get a text and I read it, the app still alerts me as if I missed it. I have to manually go into the app to dismiss it. That can get annoying after a while. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Please fix this. Thanks.

You can't shut it up. Phone on silent but it still bellows out. Otherwise good.

So far this app is much better than expected and does everything I need...especially, reminding me of missed Voice Mail messages. I have set it up to give me one notification every ten (10) minutes and it does. I don't need the SMS text notifier as my phone has this...but the Voice Mail notifier makes my life so much easier. I do have 2 questions: 1) is it possible for me to put my own ringtone in? 2) How long does the notification last? Today I'm doing a test to see the answer of question 2. So far, over 2 hours. This app is wonderful. Thanks....it is just what I wanted.

This app works well and has a simple interface. Android, and IOS for that matter, have a major flaw, they don't have a way to receive reminders of only specific notification and the ability to get persistent reminders until you respond . Yes, you can get a reminder of every single notification on some OS's but who what that? I want to be reminded I missed a voice mail until I I get the reminder no matter how long I take to see it. I don't want my phone to be notify me with a constant reminder of a simple e-mail. I want to be able to choose only Voice mail and or SMS. On my Sprint M8 with Visual Voice Mail, most reminder apps will work on SMS and sometimes e-mail but none so far will remind me of the system voice mail notification, I did read one app stating Visual VM must be disabled for it to work but this app worked right away with Visual VM enabled. Finally one that works, no more missed VM while away from my phone if I forget to look. The only request I have is to allow app to access my custom notifications stored in the system or Zedge app. That's not a complaint, just a wish list item. Try this app, I hope it works as well as it did for me! Thanks!!

I have T-Mobile. Although they have indicators to tell you when someone calls or leaves a text message, there doesn't seem to be anyway to indicate you have voice messages. I downloaded this app in the hopes it would resolve this issue, but alas, it does not. This may be a great app for others who don't have T-Mobile, but for me, this app is useless.

I like the way this app works when it does work. Problem is it just stops working and I don't know how to reinitiate it

Aside from some false positives, good app for alerts of incoming texts & voicemail. I'd hoped this could replace the free vm app my Android ZTE came with for hearing/reading vms (that keeps pestering me to upgrade for a fee), but this only lets you know messages come in, not what they say. Great at doing that.

I use Google Voice with Sprint, and often miss messages. This app solves this problem, I never miss messages. Thanks developers, and extra kudos DELUXE SUPREME, for making this Free app AD FREE. I'd kiss you if I could, you have placed the customer first. Thank you!

Add on to this app email monitoring so you can get consistent alerts for emails that have come in

so i installed this and everytime i go to settings...it'll consistently crash...so i uninstalled this...

Can't change alarm sound. Not intuitive, only one alarm, not loud, not very good.

Love the app, solves a problem my wife had with her new Android phone. Only suggestion for the author is to change the name to include 'voicemail' somewhere. Found this on a secondary app store before knowing to look for 'VMMonitor' here.
