I'm trying to login my gv acct and it says error. help or refund.

Something happened I can no longer get it setup. Won't login. Please fix.

Can't log in to google account... Developer says "fix coming" for months!! #robbery #ripoff

Also worked with "Profiles Settings" by Probeez. Finally an automated Google Voice phone controller that works.

5 months later and still out here for sale. Sad.

First off, I set up integration though Google Voice on Sprint (my GV number is the same as my Sprint number). Using this plugin, I set up a Tasker profile to force Hangouts to ring when on WiFi (Google Talk: On / Sprint Mobile Phone: Off) and for my regular dialer app to ring when not on WiFi (Google Talk: Off / Sprint Mobile Phone: On). It works fairly well, though Hangouts still rings in the latter scenario, the regular dialer coming up a few seconds later. I figure this to be more of a Hangouts issue than Locale GV Settings Plugin issue.

This app has been abandoned by its developer. It used to be awesome, but now no longer connects to Google Voice which means it's useless. Broken since June 2015, no update since 2014. Developers website doesn't exist. So sad, I loved this app and there's nothing at all like it :(

It was a tasker plugin I relied on greatly and worked reliably. Unfortunately, the developer has disappeared with no word. The code doesn't work now because something changed and needs to be updated. I really need this to work again. Consider this abandonware.

It worked beautifully for a few days.. Now it just tells me that it cannot log in.. I see no way to reauthenticate!

Broken for 28 months now? Fix it or let the people know you're not going to.

They have had a chance to get it working now for 4 months. Its dead. Really sad... Love how the app used to work. I really rely on it to save me minutes and battery on my phone. The Dev just need to work something out with the google voice team to ensure the app can continue to have access and change google voice settings.

This new version no longer works. ... I love having my Google Voice number follow me when I am at work and at home. This app makes it really easy to automatically change which numbers ring, the voicemail greeting, and whether the number needs to announce themselves. If you use Google Voice, I HIGHLY recommend this app with Tasker!

Was working great with my Google Nexus 4, stopped working generating a notification that it couldn't log in to google voice. The problem was fixed. Got a Moto X 2nd generation and it worked for a while but has stopped working again. Locale shows my locations correctly and the UI for the plugin (which is not good) shows the correct numbers enabled and disabled. If I go to the web interface for google voice, it doesn't show correct numbers enabled and disabled for my current location and if someone calls my google voice number the correct numbers don't ring. So to summarize, the UI shows the correct numbers enabled but it apparently doesn't actually send that information to Google Voice. 5 stars when it worked, 1 now Please fix!

EDIT: 6/23/2015, ...and it's down again. Guessing this time for good, since it started working again last time on its own, luckily for the dev.

Love the plug in but it's useless if it can't login to GV. Props for getting it working before but please address current issue. Thanks.

After Google made changes to the login process, the developer programmed a quick adjustment so it works again. Edit: It stopped working again.

I have relied on this plug-in for quite a while, and the past two months have been very frustrating. Stopped working sometime around late May/early June, fixed about two weeks later, only to stop working mid/late June again. This was due to a change by Google, but the frustrating part has been lack of communication by the developer, whose last communication on this was June 23. Are they working on fixing this or are we dead in the water?

Login not working again. But... I love this app. I use it multiple times a day. I will keep my fingers crossed for a fix.

Just purchased it and 2 step auth doesn't work. When trying the generated password it says "Error:(SETTINGS_AFTER_LOGIN) attempt to invoke virtual method 'initcom.techventus.server.voice.exception.ERORR_CODE.ordinal() on a null object referance. Please fix.

As other reviewers state, this has stopped working due to Google API changes.

I loved this when it worked but it no longer does and no updates on the horizon

OMG so sad it seems dead. This plugin worked so well. The page says they are working to resolve the login issue, but it has been months now. This app worked so well before.

Won't log in to Google. I have sent two emails to the developer and haven't received a response.

This *was* a fantastic plugin, until Google killed it by disabling the interface this plugin used to change your settings on Google Voice. I feel bad giving this 1 star because it's really no fault of the developers: Google simply blocked this functionality and didn't replace it with anything.

This used to be one of the most useful apps I purchased, but no longer. It will not log into Google Voice. Like everyone else, I'm getting an error every time.

As others have noted this plugin no longer works at all. When it did work, this plugin was terrific.

Any luck on the fix for logins?

Bought this app a while back. It no longer works.

I didn't realize how much I relied on this app until I lost it for a week (Google changed up their authentication protocol without warning). Steelgirder fixed it in a week or so and I am happy again. I use it with Tasker and it keeps my phones doing what they are supposed to do as I move about.
