StaySafe Personal notifies friends or family if you are in trouble or don’t check-in safely. It sends your Android phone’s location via email or SMS so you can be found fast. Even if your battery runs out, alerts will continue to be sent out with your last known location.
To start a session, choose emergency contacts from your phonebook and select how long you expect the activity to take. If you don’t check in before this time, an alert will be sent.

Bought it and put it through it's tests on S3 phone. It did everything properly and send emails and SMS consistently. This is the best app of it's type in the store. You do not just tap an SOS button, this app actually tracks your location and will send email and SMS alerts to your contacts EVEN IF YOUR PHONE IS OFF OR THE BATTER IS DEAD, IT WILL STILL WORK. It also sends alerts to contacts when you start your session, letting them know. It works flawlessly and is much needed. IT'S GREAT.

I really like this app. I tried several different ones and so far this one is the best. I love that that the alert sound is so loud and the duress option. The only thing I would change is to add more than one SMS contact. I would like to add my mom and my 2 sisters. The email is only good if they have their emails set to come to their phone and they actually check it. Text message is better.

The time clock syncs with the uk so email notifications are well out of time. If you cant get service then you cant update your countdown. Also the note you attach doesn't actually get sent to anyone to tell them where you are heading. Wont be using this app.

Location is too vague. Should be able to notify police directly. If I'm traveling, I will end up dead anyway since a friend isn't nearby.

But would like to be able to add more emergency contacts, not just one SMS contact. If that contact is away/has a dead battery/ it would be nice to be able to add more details. We are a small charity with a tight group of 4-5 welfare workers that would use this if they all could be notified if something is wrong with anyone who is working alone.

I was really excited about the features this app. I purchased, downloaded and created an account. One huge problem - every emergency contact I tried to add "wasn't supported." I tried 10 different contacts and kept receiving an error message saying that numbers from certain regions aren't supported in this app. Huge let down. I paid the $6.99, but I can't be refunded, however, because you can only receive a refund within the first 15 minutes of purchase!

Hello I download this app and tried to test it out. The emergency contact listed did not receive an email when I pressed panic multiple times. I could see that the emails were being sent though. I then replaced the number with my own number and it worked and sent me a message. How can I fix this? Does the other user need to have the app downloaded?
