The Snow and Ice Management (SIM) App provides SMS Assist’s snow and ice removal Affiliates a way to manage work orders and streamline the onsite validation process on-the-go and in real-time. It is fully integrated with the SMS Assist SIM Portal and creates real-time communication and work order visibility between our affiliates’ home office, crews and SMS Assist. The SIM Mobile app improves the workflow process for both field technicians and Affiliate administrators in the following ways:
• Receives weather alerts 24-48 hours prior to any work related conditions
• Shortens the time to process work orders and decreases the amount of paperwork, which saves time and money on every work order
• The photo feature captures before and after pictures to ensure every service is completed to 100% satisfaction
• The GPS-enabled functionality reduces technicians’ check in and out time to under one minute
• Allows Affiliate administrators to remotely monitor and manage the status of all of a business’s work order information, all in one place
