Daily Office

A wonderful application. Allows one to pray the Daily Office without the unavoidable distractions of turning from the office, to the lectionary, to the Bible -- back and forth. Even though the faithful have done just that for centuries, the world has changed. My wife and I are immensely grateful for the work of all who have compiled this aid to prayer.

Wow! I love the fact the I can play the audio to the music in this app. Rather than just reciting the office without knowing the songs, I can actually follow along with the music. I love it!

Doesn't have the complete liturgy of the hours

I am a convert to the Episcopalian church and this app has helped me to learn how to pray the Daily Office.

This app looks terrible on the Note 3, as well. I think I'll stick with the website.

Spanish version not working anymore

This has everything I need for daily prayers! Just lately there has been a bug where evening prayer (English) will just give me a black screen. I've uninstalled/installed it several times, but still does it -no issues with morning prayer.

I love the idea - but as others have pointed out already, the app simply can't be used on a Galaxy S4. Really hope you will fix this soon.

I like it that the full daily office is in one place, you do not have to seek out the readings from a separate app.

My household has used the lectionary app from crushed red pepper for morning prayer the past 2 years. I recently got an Android phone and have been looking for another daily office to use. This one is the same translation, free, and easy to use.

Great way to start and end your day

Love being able not carry my pray book. Will you ever include the lesser feast and fast readings & psalms. My church uses them for evening pray during lent.

Could you guys come up with an update to accommodate the screen size of the galaxy s4 please? The formatting is off in certain places. Other than that, pretty good.

Excellent app to quickly see daily office (morning & evening prayer) with full rite (Contemporary listed but has link to read traditional if you prefer) & readings (Psalms, OT, NT & Gospel readings) included in one easy format. Has links to other prayers from the Book of Common Prayer. Down sides - no quick Compline & must have wifi access to use. Would gladly pay for an app to allow me to read BCP offline.

I'm very glad I noticed the mention of the Android app on the Mission St. Claire website. The app simplifies the process of accessing the Office readings on the go. Some possible areas for improvement include the development of a way to navigate around the different sections of the Office similar to the website and also integration of a way to access the sung and chanted portions of the Office from the app. Keep up the good work!

The book of common prayer has never been so accessible. This is a light weight ap that brings you the daily office and a brief reflect based on the life of the exemplar or saint of the day. Well worth using.

This app provides a parsimonious, no-nonsense way to use the Book of Common Prayer. I have long struggled to have regular prayer and the app has been very helpful. This probably will sound strange to some people, but I think the Lord has used it to make major improvements in my prayer life. Each set of prayers has covers major aspects of prayer - confession, supplication, and, above all, praise. It also has inspirational remembrances of saints.

Awesome app! I would love too have the audio for the morning, noon, and evening prayer as well as the readings. Like the website has.
