ROSA - Road Safety Application

ROSA intends to develop an application which will initiate a series of road safety communication, information and training actions aimed at raising awareness and change the behavior of young novice drivers. This application will also help in solving traffic problems and most significantly will support the victim in case of accident.

• Sending Multiple SMS (to hospital/ambulance/police/friends) with current address and geo-coordinates at a single click.

• GPS Directions that give your customers turn-by- turn GPS directions to nearby hospitals and police station.

• Point-of- interest (Hospitals, Police Station, Emergency Hospitals, Women Crime Protest Cell, Blood Bank, Schools etc.) on the map.

• Dashboard display: District administration and other department will be able to view their feature of interest on their own dashboard.

• Information about traffic congestion and alternate routes.

• Road safety awareness tool using in-app advertisements.

• First Aid training tool.

• Listing of accident prone areas on map using historical data.

• Includes Road Safety and Traffic rules modules.

• Users can instantly report an accident.

• Maintains a profile containing information required in emergency.

• Includes maps with different views (satellite, terrain, cycling etc).

• Provides alert notification while entering in accident prone areas.

Rosa is still in Beta and is under development so If you find a bug or if the app crashes make sure you that let us know (and give a change to fix it) before you give us a bad review.
