VIPRE Mobile Security

I purchased the lifetime vipre for pc and android. I installed it a few years ago. I was able to update to latest on pc, but on my android phone it has totally failed. Constantly crashing. I'm never able to open the app much less update it. This is lifetime version purchased from hsn.

From what I can tell it's protected me a few times from stuff but I've had quite a few problems with it freezing and crashing since updating my phone to Android 7.2.1 which has had spotty performance since depending on the monthly patches I get from Google and from the play store so I'm not sure what's up. Sometimes it freezes up when I'm trying to open the app, other times it just randomly crashes when I plug the phone in to charge. Other times it just randomly crashes for seemingly​ no reason, other than those issues though it's been a solid antivirus app. I have the lifetime on my desktop so I moved over to it on my phone from avg and pretty happy with it so far minus the problems, hopefully they get fixed in future updates, will change my rating if so.

I don't know what's going on with this app. I got two new phones and it keeps telling me my subscription is free and I need to upgrade. I have a paid subscription. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, it will not let me do anything.

When a threat is found is needs to popup with a warning in the foreground and not just turning the icon red in the status bar with no sound notification either. This is the only security app I've tested that does this. If a ransomware ever hit, this app couldn't do anything about it because ransomware stays in forground so u can't access anything else and this app shows nothing in the forground therefore it would be behind the ransomware not accessible.

Got this program a while back, but now I'm getting notifications that the program has stopped running. When I open the app it just freezes on a black screen. I hope this glitch gets fixed. I can't have an anti-virus that just decides to stop running

Updated 3 weeks ago, now I get 20-30 errors per day that it's stopped and needs to be closed, interrupting other apps, text messages, and the like. It's obnoxious. VIPRE released no patches nor rolled back the update. I'm tired of it. Uninstalling.

It works great for awhile then it stopped working altogether. It has not worked since April 6, 2017 and today is April 24,2017. VIPRE promised to fix it back on April 10,2017. I'm still waiting, fourteen days later.

Annoyed that the app is constantly crashing. I can't open it, and I PAID for this app to protect my phone. Some protection. More like a waste of my money!

Since it updated all I get is a black screen when I try to open the app. It's now USELESS!

This is a great security app. I have used Vipre on my computers for 15 years. Great tech support also, but rarely needed.

I think Viper was the best Anti Virus. I purchased my viper. In 2012 still working good . It protect up to the lifetime of my computer.

still good but it needs in my opinion an calls and sms filter +support for 4.4 kitkat.

It never scans when you install an app... please fix! other than that the lifetime premium feature is great!

I haven't quite figured this out yet I paid for subscription from HSN and you tell me that I don't have the premium product so I don't know if I like it or not

Doesn't scan apps anymore after update. No longer works for my android box running 5. Why??

Not working. My phone says I'm protected but then stops. Please fix. I paid for this.

After installing it, it does not open up.Everything is black! Very dissatisfied!

I love Viper. It is the best. I do wish it would prevent companies from tracking me, though.

I paid for this on HSN.& don't have premium service. I do like the app but only if I had the premium service that I paid for.

How can your app be so great on the computer,and so bad on mobile?please fix the mobile app,it keep giving a message that Vipre,keep shutting down....

Great antivirus, I have been using it for a number years. Very reliable.

Viper. Works great no malware since I have been using it.

It won't let me purchase premium for my mobile. I don't want pc, just mobile, if you can fix it then I won't uninstall it and I'll put my rating up as a friend has it and can't speak highly enough about it.

I do like it. I got it for a great price bundle life time from qvc or hsn . Also added with bundle was usage of 10 devices. Update.. Have on my LG k10. Everything downloaded fine by directions. Working well so for and PC. Will be checking crashes.

Got the Premium Edition from HSN, doesn't seem to be playing nice with marshmallow update. It's constantly causing my phone to reboot. Moto x pure Edition. Update. Now it's constantly crashing. Please fix this crap. Seriously, WTF?

I downloaded Viber a long time ago I love the app at that time but lately when I click on the app to do a scan on my own but I get a black screen and nothing happens can someone fix all the complaints from many people so we can love Viper again

It's buggy and laggy, sometimes locking up the system for several minutes before crashing. Now I'm trying to uninstall it and it won't! I've deactivated its device administrator status and it still won't uninstall.
