I am a garage door tech for 10yrs, and have been using this app for about 7yrs. And since using this app, it had helped out quite a bit. Quick and precise. Spring conversions are a snap. I have yet to use the other features. But I'm sure they will come in handy. Thanks (2 Thumbs Up)

This is a good resource but it needs a few more features and a bug worked out. The bug is the one that gives me an error message when I enter the drum size (APCO 400-8) and then select 8' high door. It tells me that this drum will only support doors up to 8'6". I'd also like to be able to figure cable lengths and be able to export my figures to a printer. Do that SSC and I'll give you 5 stars :-)

Been a installer for 22 years, this is the best app for any door installer to have, its great for figuring out just about any door that you're on, if you can't figure this app out, you probably need more training

Good app. Almost as good as my Overhead Springs manual book.

This is great. Don't have the exact replacement spring in your truck? Calculate equivalent replacement fast. Door have wrong Springs on it? Weigh the door and put in measurements and drum size. BOOM! Find the perfect size. Looking for higher cycle replacement ? No problem. This is a must have for any door pro. Don't guess. Be sure. Don't do the job twice.

I use it everyday to convert springs works great and never had an issue.

having an issue when selecting an 8ft drum, it says the door height is too tall for the selected drum.. when in fact it is an 8ft drum and 8ft lift. have called numerous times to report to no avail.. for what I payed you would think it would be accurate... it will get you close, but not perfect. should be just as functional as the ios app! lazy service spring if you ask me! like I said I tried calling.. now you get a bad review.

This app has never given me any issues or errors when using the program. It works like it should error free.

if you work on overhead doors this app will be your best tool, takes a bit to get used to the app but its comes out of the truck befor vice grips and winding pins, been working on OHD for over 25 years and now Id have to say this thing rocks, got a busted tor spring dont have the match on your truck, but got spring wire,, bamm make the size and cycle you need... I love this app

I changed my review to 3 stars because it's missing cable length. I'll change it back to 5 stars after its fixed. Also, OHD TD1A drum comes out really hot. Choose another 4" drum like Apco 400-8

It would be great if you could get correct cable length. It would make figuring out if a unbalanced door has cable length/drum issues or spring issues.

The purpose for which I bought this app leaves me disappointed in some of its functionality. Spring conversion. It clears out the information when a person goes from replacement back to current spring. I wonder where the lift cable application part is? This is supposed to be a complete leave the books behind app for all technicians in engineering?

Clunky. Needs an update for all intentional. My book is quicker.

It works for the daily stuff, but most of those we have memorized... lacks functionality, doesn't puke out door weight from springs (ie to work out new configurations) so you can't punch in existing springs get a weight then recalculate for added struts/glass/convert to high lift... no option to throw in track pitch, it always assumes horizontal. I expected better.

Must have tool for techs in the field!

Need better u.I. kinda hard to understand. 3 stars for being the only guys with an app. Could get 4or 5 if price was lower. Should be like 10 bucks. Still helpful! Thanks sac!

Every spring at creation in this app is given a 10000 cycle rating. It would also be much better if it gave you lift pounds as well as ippt for conversions.
