Price Getter

This applications main use is to determine the price of products while shopping. It works by parsing the item number from the UPC code and searching the stores web site for the price. IT only works for Walmart at the moment but in later revisions will work with other stores.

Can be used at home to determine the price of products before you go shopping. It scans the bar code of the UPC of the product with help form the "Bar Code Scanner" application. The Walmart web site sometimes returns multiple products when searching on the item number component of the UPC so there is a function "Search Again" that tries to address this condition.

Sometimes the Walmart website doesn't return any product whith a search on the item number, therefore the is another function "Additional Search Key" that lets you search the website with something other then the item number. Like wise there is a function to enter a price manually.

It is best to choose a department when searching on the scanned UPC. Like wise it is best to be specific when searching with "Additional Search Key".
