The ads in the app are larger then the postings. On top of the ads on every other line, there is a banner ad att the bottom. I would have rather paid the $1-$5 to get an app without selling themselves to the ad company. Best website, crappy app.(because of ads)

The four post side scroll for the newest posts is kind of annoying, and not because it's a change of pace, but perhaps you should consider doing top posts of the month? The top 4 posts from the current month or the previous get placed there for new visitors to see or for infrequent readers? The ads are a bit of a discomfort, the banner and the scroll adds feel cramped even on a large screen phone. I understand the need, but perhaps just scroll ads? Also I clicked to Amazon, it wouldn't open a description.

As a daily reader of The Awesomer, I think this app would be perfect for me, but not yet. I am pretty sure this is not a definitive version of the app since it is new but as of version 1.0.3, I think a couple of things should be improved. 1. This one is more of a personal preference, but I find the first 4 posts a bit confusing. They appear in a Featured banner that has to be scrolled from side to side in order to see them while the older posts appear in a similar way as they do on the website. I would personally prefer to see them like any other post without having to scroll only those 4 posts. 2. When you hit the back button after reading a post, it sends you back to the top of the previous page which forces you to scroll all the way back down to keep reading. 3. The application limits the number of recent posts to about 60 or so and it is all condensed in a single page. It would be way more enjoyable and easier for the users to implement a page system like the one used on the website. 4. Advertisement represents about 1/3 of the whole application. I understand that those ads are used to generate revenue, but it takes way too much screen space. So for now, I give 3*
