Square Cash

Had a fraud issue with the app. Contacted them for help. Was told that there was nothing they could do to help. So I disputed it with my bank. They refunded me and now I find out today that Square Cash has "at there discretion" made a "final decision" to deactivated and closed my account. Guess I'll be sticking with PayPal, where fraud protection is supported not dismissed!

I use to like Square Cash and think too what a great idea. But believe me go to PayPal there you can speak with someone. If you have a problem no customer service phone number. All email what a huge inconveniences . After i get my money I will never use square cash again.

This is one of the horrible sights I've ever used in a while. Please please please do not use this site. My family member sent me some money for her vacation it's gone on 5 days still have not received it. I asked them to deposit the money in my account instantly. Horrible sight horrible horrible. Please don't waste your time nor money.

The worst app ever! Me and my sister had to dispute a transfer and I'm still waiting since 6/30/17 for a reply!!! I am pretty sure she just lost $180 cause of them! Horrible customer service! They will scam you one way or another!! I even had to make 2 other different accounts just to see if I can receive that money and nope! I do not recommend to anyone!

The customer service is terrible. No live person to talk to on the phone. All of the email responses took days to get back to me. My money is floating somewhere in cyberspace. This is the 4th time I have trouble with square cash app. I am sticking with VENMO. NO HEAD ACHES

I set up an account and within 48 hours someone hacked it and then proceeded to take small amounts of money out of my bank account for 2 weeks using visa charges and cash requests. Best to use Citibank or Chase apps. If you lost money I suggest contacting banking regulators to file a complaint.

Extremely easy to hack into. I had my phone stolen and the thief immedietly started sending himself money through this nonsecure app. I couldn't believe it. Absolutely no security at all. And zero customer support at all when I frantically tried to have this stopped. No one to talk to, just emails that resolved nothing. I hate this worthless app.

I don't like the fact that you people decide which transactions are permitted to go through. I've been trying for the longest to get someone to tell me how to delete my account because uninstalling the app doesn't remove my information from your system. Your verification system sucks and it doesn't work properly. You ask for a ridiculous amount of personal information along with a driver's license that your app won't even scan to verify one's identity in order to receive money (in my case). This is ludicrous. Now, I'm stuck with an app that I don't want and can't use. Had I known any of this, you would've NEVER gotten my info.

It was great until they asked me to verify my identity but the app wont scan my ID, so i cant get paid, and all the money is being held, there is no direct help for this app and the problem isn't even listed in the help section. If they can fix these things i will be happy again, but while i can't get paid, i am not a happy camper!

DO NOT Download. Customer support sucks! You think it would be better since you're dealing with peoples money. The app itself is stupid. You have to link to your debit card and bank account instead of one or the other. And their estimate time that youll get your money is very inaccurate, if your funds get sent back to the app it doesnt tell you. I was waiting for my cashout all weekend and suddently when i contact support the money is back on the app... like this money should be in the bank right now. Theyre playing games. Do not download.

Ridiculous you can't delete the virtual card and you don't even tell people why they can link their bank account. Then your support team doesn't even fix the issue or give you any other information. Just as useless as the app.

I tried buying concert tix and made a transaction thru this app. I gave the seller the money and I got nothing back. Do not trust $shantel1222. She is a fraud. And when I tried communicating this throught the app support I got no response at all. DO NOT GET THIS APP

Had no problems until my roommate went to send me back money. It's been over a week I have yet to see the money it shows it was sent. And the support is awful. They haven't gotten back to me at all. All u can do is submit a claim and wait. Never using this app again. Good to know they will take my money but can't send me back money or have a support department to handle things.

Gave this app one star only because zero stars isn't an option. Downloaded the app because I owed a friend some money and he said this app would give us each $5 if he referred me.. I have PayPal and Venmo both, but I was like whatever I'll give this one a shot. I tried sending him payment 5 different times over the course of a month, and every single one got rejected. My banking info was entered perfectly, I had plenty of money to cover the transaction, the app is just simply incompetent. Do yourself a favor, get Venmo and PayPal like the rest of 2017 America, and avoid wasting time and energy on this ______ (enter whatever worthless expletive you want) app.

I would of give it a 5☆, but I have issue identity myself, I wrote them a email they said they will help me, i waiting for a email update. they never did until this day, and that was 3 weeks ago. Still can't used my app.

Not very safe. Several transactions were attempted on my virtual card. If I had the card enabled they would have been succesful. I reported the 1st couple to support with no response. And reported again today 7/16 after another 34.00 attempt was made.

Emailed customer support bc one of my transactions didnt go through. Had one guy named Dylan emailed me responded to me right away which was great. The second time I emailed them again about another transaction that didn't go through. I had no response. And the weird thing is that the email I received from Dylan was no longer in my email which I did not delete. Its been more than a week and I still got nothing. Thanks.

Amazing .. instantly in my account! fee could be lower, and there should be a customer service phone number because people shouldn't have to wait for an email for DAYS when they think their money got lost or can't access it or something.. consider this please.

Customer service is none existent with this company, there is no help when it comes to missing and un-received funds. There is no customer service number. While the "email team" takes days to reply or address your concerns. Three days now and no response about my missing money. I won't trust them again! 7/12/2017 Update It's now been 6 days and still no word or email response from their support team. I'm so through with these horrible people. I won't recommend anyone get this app ever. And if you do have it delete it before you run into this problem, and be sure you will!!!

Pissed off!!! My mom sent me $100 a week ago and still haven't recieved it!! Sent email. No response of course. If I find the person responsible for this they are dead!! Screwing everybody over like this.

I can't send atleast $5.00 to my brother in the US ARMY, because this stupid invalid card number problem... It recognized my card, but will not allowed to be valid.. need help ASAP!!! Since I didn't get a respond back, I'm uninstalling.. Good job SquareCash! You f***** up!!!

This app is BS my family sends me money for bills (College Student) and the money gets blocked for security reasons they say and no customer support you can call

Worse money peer to peer app available. First couple transactions A++. My next 4 transactions to the exact same person were flagged and refunded. Keep in mind this is after I got in contact with support whom gave me their apologies and said to try it again. Uninstall button please

Terrible customer service. Deactivated my account without a real explanation. Also did it to a few friends i invited. My advice, just use paypal.

Installed last week, because my boyfriend recommended it to exchange $, got $5, so 1 ☆ for that. Free deposit says 1-2 business days, boyfriend sent me $250 on Friday evening, was told it'd be in my account Wednesday! Wth?! Changed the service to 1% fee for instant deposit and it still didn't deposit. Request customer service, emailed them the issue. Got an instant email saying someone would get back to me very soon... still waiting and its Tuesday. I even emailed them again and no reply. Yes, it's a holiday weekend, but seriously? No help whatsoever?! Should've insisted the bf install Venmo, wouldn't have this issue.

***UPDATE*** I was using this app for my children of which I have 4. But the 1st time I had it, it stopped me from sending them money fairly soon (a couple months). I downloaded it again and used my email address to create a new account at one of my children's request. Again, I was deactivated because my account was viewed as "high risk" for reasons unstated. We never really sent more than $100 at a time, but there are 5 of us so I send quite a bit of money and one kid in particular begs a lot. I'm not sure of what they view as high risk, but I doubt Über fare is a legitimate qualifier. Thanks, but no thanks Square. I'll use PayPal. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1st review: The app works fine for a while but then wouldn't allow me to send or receive any more funds. I tried to Uninstall & then reinstall, but no such luck. I recently reinstalled after almost a year & all of my info and history was saved. I updated everything and tried it again - NOTHING! i hope they work out the bugs soon.

I have PIN and fingerprint activated in this app, but it never prompts me to input one or the other. Meaning, if someone was to use or take my phone and get inside, they can open the app and do whatever with my money. Good thing I haven't actually used it for transactions yet. I highly advise looking elsewhere. Like, Simple Banking for example. They actually have HUMANS that communicate with you, and I've never had an issue with them in my two years of use, both app and card wise.

The app is fine but the new cash card feature is a disaster. First it crashed the app when trying to activate the card. That was fixed but now the in-app camera can't focus.

Simple, love the option to choose whether or not to cash the money instantly with a very small percentage fee of that amount. Overall great interface, user friendly, secure and enjoy that I can use my fingerprint as my password. -Nexus 5x Works great!

Love it but why do you charge to use, my son told me bout and said no charges to send money ? But love I can send and get get money from friends and family fast ..

Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Stole $290 from me. Please use some other trustworthy money transfer app.

Great app no hidden fees or anything. Only reason it got a 4 is because it isnt giving me the money for the invites i do right away.

used to be one of my favorite apps to send money but recently why do I have to link my Facebook profile to the app? I do not like that at all

I to am a VICTIM square cash said I had a refund on 7/1/2017 I'm still waiting for my refund. Do became a victim like me. They did not refund my money. The customer support is a email. I will not use this site again after this.....

This app makes my life very simple and easy, I transfer and receive money quickly. I received a physical debit card which I can use for bills and payments. Cashing out instantly is 1% charge or next day for free!!! No complaints AT ALL!

I sent a payment to my sublessor while they were traveling abroad. Because they were not in the country, they were unable to collect the payment and it expired. I have been waiting for the payment to return to my bank account for over 3 weeks since I've sent it, and over 5 business days since I've gotten the expiration notice. The website says that returned payments take 1-2 business days to return after expiration. My money has been in limbo for at least a week. Where is it? I have tried contacting customer service and just got an automated response. It'd be one thing if it was $20, but this is a sum that literally affects my living situation. As far as I am concerned, Square Cash has stolen $350 from me, and if I don't hear back from someone, I will have to wait until I get paid again before I can pay LAST MONTH'S rent, and it's a good thing my sublessor is cool about it because this is beyond ridiculous.

Horrible.. im pretty sure i just lost $358

Garbage app, doesn't work at all and it took money from my mother. Support is nonexistent and when I try to get my "code" for support, I need an account, and when I try to make an account, it can't "confirm identity" I hope the person in charge of that company suffers horrible events and bad luck for years to come.
