About PowerWatch : power cut alert
PowerWatch is an app that lets you know if the power in your power
plugs gets cut. Simply connect your phone charger to the plug you wish
to watch, and let PowerWatch tell you if the power is cut. PowerWatch
can either make an audible alarm, or send you an SMS to alert you to
the power cut.
Example applications include:
* watching your fridge and freezer for power losses
* watching that water pumps have electricity on
* watching the electricity in your second home

Simple, and plays an alarm when the power goes off (a pay service on some other apps for some reason). You need this if you have a baby monitor.

Emailed developer twice about problems not being able to get into settings. Been over a week, haven't heard anything yet. Let me get into settings, back up to 4 stars. Please fix.Developer contacted me, emailed again explainig problem, never heard back. Deleting.

This app gets 5 stars because it worked. It's early morning and I'm dead asleep, the power went out for 30 seconds and the app woke me up. I went to garage to check on the baby chick's heat light and it was back on. Had the power been out for hours they could get too cold fast and die. Make sure you choose the alarm at setup I had to pick a alarm tone as default was quiet.
