Maple Player Classic

Unlike all the karaoke folk, I use it mainly on podcasts. Between well-designed speed changes, sleep timer, bookmarks, easy access to downloads, it's by far my favorite. Especially since it never drops out or crashes as other free mp3 players have. Best part is several modes of ff rewind with virtual button or drag slider so I can move around a long podcast as easily as a song.

Like a lot of folks I came across this app looking for a way to get variable (faster) playback. This app not only has that, but has pretty good pitch correction. I can listen to audio books at a nice tight clip (1.35 is my standard) and correct the sound well enough that I don't feel like I'm betraying the voice actor. The EQ helps get clear sound to my crummy headphones. It has a simple, clean interface that's easy to learn. It loads and updates my library automatically and accurately.

5 Stars. Best variable speed of playback. Smooth interface. I listen mostly to speech. Tried many players. Stayed with Maple. My only improvement would be ability to use multiple instances, so I could keep long audio files open to pause midway and pick up hours or days later, having listened to other things in between.

As a musician, I wanted a music player that had pitch and tempo control. Other, more popular players for Android had those features but they also came with more extras that I didn't need or want. I certainly didn't want my UI to be loaded with "suggested" streaming or other albums for purchase. This app is nearly perfect without a lot of bloat. Followup: Now that I have Maple, I see there is no "gain" "pregain" or "normalized" volume controlling feature. Some of my 9500 songs have volume levels that are either too high or too low. I think this is a common problem. I did see those features on other music player apps. Perhaps Maple would consider adding this feature in the near future ????

I am a guitar player.so playing guitar for any song scale is most important.maple media player help me for learn lot of thing.i give 100 Star to maple nd the maple team.thanks

I really love the app in general but the only thing I have issue with is it doesn't save. Can you update this version with the saving option? Thanks.

Pitch and tempo control plus looping of parts of tunes make this really useful But it stopped working on my old Kobo Arc with the latest release and I don't have the older version. Arghh!

I love the app and I use this app for my MP3 music and MP3 audiobooks and is my favorite MP3 player but not all of my folders with MP3 music do not show. Can you help fix this problem?

The app isn't seen as default player. All other players tried can be set to default, but maple won't work... This means that you are forced to use Google default app or go elsewhere... This is from when using mp3 downloaded

Player looks like is very classic but equalizer is too good so i used it for best sound but want to more stylist like other music players ( Don't change equalizer because its really too good ) please make player skin more cool and stylist.

This player has great features. My favorite two being bookmarking a location in an MP3 and the ability to speed up play, which is great for audio books!

This is a very amazing app . but search option is disappeared.It also hasn't a recorder to get 5 stars.must add in the new update, a very good mp3 recorder that other players don't have.

Use for audio books. Really like that I can speed up without distortion. Great job.

I like this app but my problem is how to save it as the new version of the song or can I save a song?, hoping for immediate replies. Nevertheless I like it.

I never found a music player that able to change speed and pitch on android except this one...

There is chartering sound when we turn on Bass and reverb functions. Kindly fix it.The music quality with proper equaliser setting is really awesome . We can hear every bit of music and it is pretty enjoyable.

Its awesome and fabulous, I wish I could save the karaoke ... If there would had been any option

Doesn't play nice with Android 6+ permissions. Can't open folders.

Using the Moto E 2 I cannot access the menu because I don't have a menu key

Wery nice player for audio books listening, where you can easily adjust speed and voice tone. I will recommend it to my friends.

It's a very efficient app. The pitch changer and its equalizer are the best plus some additional effects.

.dis app is so awesome..has a very gd equaliser..n u can alternate d pitch of d music playx...hmmm,lovely.

Guys, can anyone tell me how to remove the vocal in this app or can anyone suggest an app for removing the vocal(means to extract the track only) ?

Excellent app for listening to podcasts. Most speakers can be sped up quite significantly and you can still understand what is being said
