HEXO+ your self-flying camera for Android
Doesn't pick up my gps on HUAWEi p9
Will not run on my Pixel
Crashes on open, Android 6. Now I will have to find another phone to fly my done with. Update, Apparently the app crashes if the Bluetooth is on when you run the app for the first time. FYI, it doesn't crash anymore after you have pair your Hexo+ and phone. Can't use the altimeter on my phone to control the drones hight.
Terrible app just freezes all the time
App won't update firmware. It just sits there on "rebooting drone" no amount of retrying, restarting, unpairing, repairing will work. It's the same across multiple android phones of different makes. There really needs to be another way to update the firmware.
This app is poorly designed and constantly crashes on my new S7. Drone will not calibrate sensors and it doesn't fly. Look elsewhere for a drone product.
Excellent !
Works perfectly with my drone. I'm just waiting for you guys to add my phone (galaxy s7) to the whitelist for altitude tracking then is will be perfect.
Love it...makes flying so simple yet tactical
Would like option to position height more accurately. Need fail safe to return to designated position if signal is lost! Landing at last communication point almost cost me this drone.
Can be paired but in the hexo app it says not connected.

Immediately crashes on Android 5.0...thoughts? Update: just went in and turned off Bluetooth and I can start the app just fine. I have not tested with Hexo yet, that is next. App looks good though.
While using a Motorola Nexus 6 running Android 5.1 - Ensure Hexo+ is on - Paired VIA Bluetooth - Installed latest version of app - App shows no Hexo+ connected Attempted same steps on a Samsung Galaxy S6 running Android 5.1.1 and it functions fine. - Completed firmware update to 2.2 with Galaxy S6 - Unpaired both phones - Attempted same steps on both phones and rendered the same results. - Restart all devices and attempted the same steps (Same Results)
Was super excited to finally get my hexo+. But app won't open on my lg g4... Crashes immediately upon opening app. Please fix hexi people! I wanna play with my $1300 drone!!!

App only has predetermined moves. Where is the waypoint system? Manual control?
Looks great but I had the same problem with it crashing on start-up. (Nexus 5 Android 6.0) But the work around worked. Go to settings > apps > app settings > location > switch it on for Hexo+. Some feed back... It might be easier to visualize the shot if there were videos/YouTube links showing what the camera moves look like. I was little surprised I didn't see a "manual mode". Also, the loopy icon is kinda random. And I really appreciate the simplicity. Super clean. Nice work!
There is a known issue with Android 6 causing the app to crash immediately. This will be fixed in the next version. For a temporary work around, manually grant the application permission to Location and Storage from Settings -> Apps. This is a very early version and I don't have the drone yet, so I can't really test. From playing around with the app I noticed there is no way to fully exit unless you press the back button a couple times. Not a big deal, but I think this is poor design according to Android gods. This initial version seems a little limiting on the camera angles since the "Director's Toolkit" was promised, but I know this will definitely get better and more flushed out in future versions. We are where we are right now though.
Simple smooth UI. Can't wait to test it out with the drone. Wondering if custom close in shots are a possibility?
App is looking good and seems easy to use. No bugs to report so far. Can't wait to fly my drone with it!
Love it. It is simple. Very easy to use. You get pretty fast how to change camera movements and feel safe with HEXO+
Great !
