Rotation manager is a tool that lets you choose which application you want to rotate or which one you don't want to rotate. It is a really simple app designed for the least possible power and RAM consumption.

The permanent notification that appears when you enable Rotation Manager with "Permanent Notification mode" lets you change app specific orientation while you are in an app, without going back to Rotation Manager

HOW TO USE
The floating button is the global orientation for all the apps. It is a 7-state button and gives you all the orientation possibilities. Long click to enter inverse modes. Then you can select from the list for every app your desired orientation. Your selection will override the default global orientation. If you want only two apps to rotate and all the others to stay at their default, just disable global orientation and then select both Portrait and Landscape for the specific app in the list. After you have selected your desired apps, just click on play and your settings will be in effect.
If you want to enable extra features, just click on the 3 dots next to the app's icon and select which features you want to override in each app.
Long click on the orientation icons for the app you want to be inverse!
Βy enabling "Permanent Notification mode" from "Preferences" an invisible permanent notification starts which ensures that the service will not be killed by the OS. Enable it if you have low RAM problems and the orientation service stops.

**Stopped working after Android 6.0 update. I am demoting to one star until it is fixed. The following previous promotion is now null and void: **(Even) the free version is worth 5 stars. The brightness and volume sliders and the screen time out options - for each individual app! These brilliant and easy to use time savers deserve at least one more star. Sadly, only five stars are possible.

Was probably the best app of its kind before the latest update. Now individual app settings no longer do anything and even setting the default for the device appears to do nothing. Android 5.0.2 on Samsung Galaxy Alpha. In its current form totally useless.

Well, this app went from a few bugs, to a bunch of bugs, to completely unusable. Whenever I try to enable it, it crashes. Whenever I change a setting, it crashes. Basically, everything I touch makes it shut down, and it's gotten to the point where it doesn't even let me enable it. Please fix this. This app used to be the best one on the market, and it still could be if it was usable.

It doesn't really solve my problem. I would like the ability to force an app which does not follow auto rotation to go to either landscape mode (normal and inverted) depending on the internal sensor. I am not sure it is possible.

Was one of my favorite apps. Fresh install of paid version on cm13 force close loops as soon as it is enabled. Please fix.

Unfortunately, you can't back up the free version and restore that to the paid version. It's a bit slow for slower devices, but it does what I need. If you have a slow device or install a lot of new programs, I'd avoid this app until you get your device setup. All this needs is a 4 way non forced mode that allows full rotate until the user turns off auto rotate manually within the same app.

EDIT: After update this is again NOT working on Lollipop. Permanent notification always says "Rotation Manager" instead of the current open app & the control buttons do not work............ S5 lollipop. Keeps crashing within minutes of starting. Was okay for the first few days but no joy now. =(( I want my money back!!

It hasn't worked since Marshmallow, and I've sent multiple crash reports and emails with no response. It used to be the best rotation control app on the Play Store, now it's the most useless.
