App Volume Control Pro for Android
Usefull, but gui could be nicer :) on some rare occasions is not working right.. overall great!
Great app does exactly as it says in the description and easy setup
So impressed with free version, I bought the Pro version. And would have paid more! This is why: I moved to Android from Blackberry and one of many missing features was the ability to set custom volume for various notifications. Such as, BBM I want to be soft sound, text msg a bit louder, and phone calls full volume. This app works perfectly and with calendar, ColorNote, Telegram and other third-party apps. Great app!!
exactly the app i was looking for. thanks a lot dev
Great app. Developer is very responsive to messages. Highly recommended.
Works great!!
Not really a fault of the app, but Android won't let a foreground app and a background app have different volumes (it lumps all apps together, pretty much) making my reason for getting this app void. Really Google?!
Good app. I would adjust the way it transitions from free to paid version though (transfer settings, uninstall free version, ignore new setting request) Overall very useful app.
Dont get it it s not like the poster. Doesnt work.(answer) fk your mail your logo lies it all
Must buy app, solved sound problem between whatapp and other app sound
Should state up front that foreground and background can't be different. Knowing after I purchase isn't helpful.
Doesn't block the sound of all apps. UI is a bit clunky. I wasted money on this.
Works a bit unpredictable. Although set up to be on max when my car dash starts it goes to default when I start Spotify. It would be better if volume could be set per device (different when connected to car Bluetooth then connected to Bluetooth earphones)
Paid the $1 for no ads, great app! I ride a motorcycle and rely on voice directions from my earbuds from Google maps to go where I need to. I play music as well but the volume from both apps are different. Using the app I was able to set my volume on Google maps the highest and music much much lower, works well!
Keeps turning vibrate or DND mode off when switching apps. Not sure if that's a bug or working as intended, but it'd be nice if it didn't do that.
Works but apparently it isn't possible to adjust the foreground volume to a different level than the background, which is what I wanted to do. I wouldnt have purchased this app if I knew this was an android limitation.
Excellent way to control individual app volume applications!
Does exactly What i need.
Great product
[UPDATE} Developer helped resolve issue. Issue was created by another app which has since been deleted. If you are having issues please check recently installed apps as they may be the culprit. As someone who is taking developer courses I am beginning to understand the difficulty in having apps coexist peacefully on the same device.
Does what it claims to do but not what I wanted. I play music and games at the same time. Was looking for something to adjust games sfx seperatley to system volume (ie for games that don't have an in app volume slider). Nice and clean GUI though. But you can do what this app does for free with Tasker.
Automatically adjust the media volume when switching between game apps (quiet) and news apps (loud), while leaving call and notification volumes untouched. Tried the free version first, and happy to buy this after testing. I also have Tasker but this is much easier for my purpose.
Set the volume settings for your app once and for all, and forget about the volume management based on the invoked app!! Remember to add this app to your Task Killers app's white list.
This app is great and works great. Love being able to launch an app and the volume be auto adjusted and then go back after app is closed. I use this on several applications. Buy it, it's well worth it.
Works well to mute sounds from all those splashscreens when you start a game.
Seriously.
It seems that now when I am in vibrate mode and go back and forward between apps that control notification sound and then leave silence vibrate mode the system notification is lowest volume/off
OK Google no longer gets adjusted from the lock screen. If i use it from an unlocked device the volume adjusts fine so i get voice feedback, but no longer from the lock screen even though it used to. I'm on a Nexus 6P
The App clearly states the it allow you to control the volume on a per app basis. It DOES NOT. If you create a rule to silence a game it silences your ENTIRE phone while the game is playing!!! Not just the App but even incoming calls!! No ringing if you told the app not to use the ringer. Or no music from Spotify if you turned off the music for a game while your playing! Too bad I paid for it.
I want to hear my music on my bikes Bluetooth speaker, and listen to voice prompts from "Map my Ride"... but they are both controlled by same volume control, and the music drowns out the voice prompts. Closing music app, to start map program, cancels out music volume setting controlled by app.

This app is exactly what I've been looking for as it allows me to individually control the volume of each application across different outputs. The ability to control the volume level when opening and closing a particular application allows me to either have a quick setup or I can spend more time and individually customize each applications and volume settings to specific actions.
I was looking for an app that let adjust volume per app like Windows and this is the one. Many different adjustments available. I played with it for a few minutes and paid for the Pro version. Worth 99 cents? Absolutely, and then some. Exactly what I was looking for :D
Plus the developer gives great support. The only downside is that it doesn't import settings from the free app.
had to uninstall & reinstall thrice, but working well now. A very handy app. will give 5 stars after backup/restore function.
I should have tried the free version first.
It would be really nice if the app would not override the do not disturb mode.
Pluses: 1 no ads. 2 choose settings for more than 8 apps. 3 works. Minuses: 1 does not import settings from basic app. 2 no way to filter out giant list of apps the are irrelevant. 3 no way to search for a specific app. Update: I turned it off because it was draining the battery. I dropped a star.
I wish Bluetooth can be set to use headset settings instead of speaker. Would also be great if it's possible to define groups or categories.

Very good, does what it says as described. However, I'd love to see two enhancements: 1. provide a tab with list of apps with changed settings, make it default view. 2. implement search capability in apps list to find app to change quickly. I would rate 5 ???? then.
