I had a similar app on my old Palm pilot that I loved and I loved this app too. Then I got the paid version. I do not recommend it. The ads disappear and the display gets skewed filling the space from the ads. The map gets stretched and the sun and moon discs become ovals and it is most annoying. This app irks me now and I am extremely disappointed. The free version is 5 stars, but the paid version is definitely not.

This latest update fails to lock the selected location as the default location. It doesn't lose it, it just isn't the default.

A quick go through the year (past, present or future) with relative sun and moon positions along with day duration.One of the nice application.

Looks nice; like the options to center Map based on location, etc. Sadly, however, it can't tell the time - the display is an hour faster than it should be. Odd, because surely it just needs to read the time directly from the phone... No obvious way of adjusting or fixing.

Any chance it could have live wallpaper?

it would be useful to be able to navigate by time zone offset, not just by country/city, and to see the time offsets marked on the map, but really neat as it is already

This is the ONLY Day/Night app to have...the display is CLEAR. I use it for Amateur Radio "Grey Line" propagation in real-time, and forecasting. Truly a Pocket Geochron! So a tip of the Telegrapher's Green Visor to the developer, "73", and All the Best from Radio Station W8LV!

for tracking sun and moon locations relative to earth's equator. Been playing with it for hours. Worth the money to remove ads.

No longer works on my tablet. A waste of a good program

A few years ago, this was lovely. I dedicated a home screen to it. As Android updates came along, its UI added nice functions, but the config. ceased to be sticky to the point it became frustrating and annoying. ||||| It's still apparently the only decent such app, and you /can/ still use its UI, but expect to lose your choices. ||||| It crashed, and reporting the crash was a pain in the butt. It repeatedly put up the crash notice, and I poked WAIT every time. It cries for dev. attention!

Some unusual map projections would be a cool feature.

Locked up phone GS4 after today's update. Uninstalling.

Great App!

How does the user 'change the setting of Hour type preferences'? I wasn't too change the 24 Hour format into the 12 Hour format; too easily view 1pm and not 13hours (Sunset info. data area). It also needs a button to instantly 'Show' and 'Hide', the Enviro data, instead of it continually seen on the left side of map display; a toggle button too Show & Hide.

Its a great app, the best thing I found was the " What if scenario" and the twilight is fabulous. But please provide some more cities of respective countries. Then it will be superb

How can this little app impact your life? It's quite simple. The app and widget are excellent reminders of just how short the day really is. It's easy to forget until you see the shadow of night isn't that far away.

Was looking for a world map sun clock, found it in this app.

Works very well!

Could be better with actual time zones. Great widget!

Best part is widget. Interface is clunky - where's the pinch zoom? And needs closer zoom, can't select tightly bunched cities.
