This app is awesome! It's very clean and modern and has a lot of features. A great improvement from the old family locator. Takes a couple of minutes to explore and to set up but then works like a charm! The location is really accurate and I can block my daughter's apps when she is in school, so she doesn't get distracted. I was sceptical at first, but so far....I am really happy with this new app from Sprint!

Like so many others I installed because family locator was going away. Not at all happy. Just want a simple app like locator in event my family member doesn't make it home. Will be canceling the service until sprint gets it right. So many other reviews like this have sprint canned answer "see safe and found faqs". Your not listening to your customers.

I hate this app. Like the Family Locator, I use this app to find my 17 year old daughter. When it can't find her, it sends her a message to let her know I'm trying to locate her. Not cool. Since the Family Locator app went away, this new one has created a lot of unwanted drama. I have to beg her to set it up. Why fix something if it's not broke? Thanks a lot.

This is awful. I don't like giving it all these permissions or getting notified every time my family members make a move. I want my old locator back!

Took some time setting up in settings. Its OK, customizable! I set it up so i don't receive my own notifications. My kid device i set up so he doesn't receive notifications at all, it's like he deesnt have the app so he doesn't complain. Also I choose not to share my own location...

This app is not intuitive, id's too invasive and buggy. I didn't give permission to block calls and now it won't let me access it, every time I try the permission screen doesn't go away. I also can't give permission now because it won't let me grant permission any more. Please either fix it or keep family locator which I've had for a while and works fine.

Just started using it.. I like the locator part but I don't necessarily want the kids to know my location. There needs to be a way to shut off to specific family members.

Horrible app. Some members on my plan have older phones and cannot download apps. Why end a working, productive user-friendly app?

I don't like that each family member must download it. I have teens/YA who will not do this easily. I am paying each month for the old app so I can see where they are when I am worried, and don't need them to do anything. Sprint Keep the old app.

Absolutely terrible app. No reason to have it on all phones. The old app worked just fine. Terrible terrible way to go Sprint.

At least for me this one works better than Family Locator. My 10yr old son has a smartphone and it's a relief knowing he can only use the apps or sites suited for him. The location precision is better than Family Locator's by a mile. It was a good update imo. Good seeing Sprint improving their services...

This requires that every family member download the app. Thousands of free family locator apps do that. Also, you won't be able to uninstall this once you install it.

Ok Sprint, any ideas on locating phones that are not smart phones? The only phone I ever located with Family Locator is the one phone on the account that is not Android. Why get rid of an app that does what it was designed for?

Sprint doesn't seem to get "being a parent", either from the legal need to be responsible for kids' safety or the dynamics of dealing with teenagers. Family Locator let me know where my kids were, more or less. This app is worthless from a legal standpoint, from a safety standpoint and from a parent's need to know where their kids are and that they're safe. This new one demands that my kids buy into this. They think is an invasion of privacy. This is despite them being minors and I'm their parent and I'm legally responsible for knowing where they are and that they're safe. I don't spy on my kids, but I do need to know where they are, especially if they're not home when they should be and they're not answering their texts or phone calls. This app seems to want to treat kids and their parents as being on equal footing, as pals. While I love them, I still need to be their parent, so we're not equals. We're not "pals" when it comes to safety. So far, I'm the only one in my family willing to go along with this, so the app lets me know when I get home. I know where I am. I don't need to get my phone out of my pocket and have to read this app's urgent message that says that I'm home.

Whats the point? It dosent locate unless other phones have the app. If they get rid of sprint family locator I will be switching services.

I cant locate my family very unstable, the other locate app was much better.Sprint fix this, it should have been beta tested, did i mention i really don't like it!

You want ta access all my texts and credit card data? No thanks. I am out. This is absolutely wrong.

A great way to keep track of family members and know where each other are. Also I like the parental controls for the kids tablets and phones to keep them safe online and blocking new app installs.

Booo ! Guess the Developer has an 8yr old and not a 17 yr old! Stick with Sprint Family locator and call Sprint to complain about not keeping that app forever. . Sprint Family Locator was a selling point for sticking with Sprint. This is a deal breaker!

What everyone else says. This was a poor choice for Sprint. Ironically, they made their locator app just like every other free locator app on the market. How is it the same? The person you want to locate (your teenagers (without making family drama)) are now required to add the app to their phone. Therefore, I uninstalled the app and deleted my monthly locator service fee with Sprint.

This is an app that I downloaded. I can't believe Sprint made it! It exists both in the app store and on my phone. Everybody rocks!

Easy to install and great app for my teenage sons, who like me when I was younger like to push life to the limits.

I dnt want this app and it won't let.me.reactive before uninstalling the app. My kids have a different carrier now..how do I deactive and uninstall. I dnt want to pay for a service I can't use

I like that Safe and Found allows me to track my elderly parents even though they are not Sprint subscribers.

What a Big POS this has become! Family Locator was simple and worked. Guess I'll start saving my $5 a month!

Would be great if it worked with my tablet up & running on my phone but I can't get it on my tablet can't receive ant tax messages on the tablet so how am I to move forward I want this to work on both there is no sign in to open an existing account just wait for a text message that will never come please fix this problem

This app is terrible. Cannot locate when I need it to, sends push notifications when I try to locate SO, has no history of travel, on and on. Do not sign up for this...

I don't recommend this application.

I just downloaded this app because sprint family locator will no longer be available and I do not like it and I haven't even had it an hour yet. I hate that each family member has to download the app. I've had trouble adding a family members phone number. Sprint family locator was much easier. Numbers were already there because it was connected to the account and each family member didn't have to download the app to be added. I don't understand why sprint got rid of the old one in the first place. I'll probably end up canceling this service. Not worth the aggravation or money.
