In summary, the popup ad issue was fixed in the 11/2013 update. The ad is still there but can be closed. Navigating sections is a little clumsy and you can't post comments so I gave this app a 3 star rating. Individual articles scroll well and are easy to read.

I used tv is app for yrs. Love it keep up with news I dont j ave time to read the entire news paper or watch the news. But now I have this enormos car add that takes up the entire page. No "x" that allows you to click off. I cant read any articles cause of this add so now this app is a waist of mmy time and phone space.... deleting......:(!

Do not install after you do it locks your phone up you have to shut it down and restart your phone to close the app. The same outfit destroyed york daily records website too.
