Dont waste your data downloading this app. Crashed on day 1, and its a everyday occurrence.

The York Dispatch app sucked, this YDR app blows. Same trouble with both. Had them installed,used them with no issues. They both stopped working about the same time. Reinstalled several times with no success.

Why is it now I have to pay for this app to read it I've had it for years and no I can't read a damn thing

I had this app for about 5 years, but it stopped updating articles about a week ago. I uninstalled it, and have reinstalled it about 5 times now. All I get is the "York Daily Record" home screen.... no articles. I am uninstalling it again now... Please fix this!

You guys 'broke ' a decent app with version 4.0.2. I Don't care that NBA is gonna play at 9:00, when the game is THREE DAYS AWAY. Far too much flash than information, but that's the way of the world these days.

Really? At this point, companies out to be able to release stable apps that won't crash when one simply tries to scroll and read a story. Frustrating.

This app has shown the same article at the top of crime section since January. Every other story changes, but I'm tired of seeing the same article at the top of the page. One about a murder for hire. Either someone is very incompetent and can't update it, or someone is very lazy.

I just moved to York and I love this ! It keeps me up to date and really informed!

I want the old version back. Anyway to get it? I used the 911 scanner on it. And it put the articles in order of time.

Displays headlines fine but on Galaxy Note 4, when I click to read an article, the article appears for about 5 seconds then I am switched back to headlines. Sometimes it will just freeze up as well.

Crashes everytime. That's just why I uninstalled before...it's been a yr.

Get with the times.... Don't charge for your content

Despite not listing a subscription fee or in app purchases, you are only allowed a currently unknown amount of free news articles to read before having to pay a fee.

I like the formats with the latest versions. However, with the most recent Android update to version 5 (lollipop), the apps will start, run for 6 seconds, then close. And I'd rather not subscribe unless ads are eliminated and the app runs consistently. I don't have to purchase other local new apps to use them.

Doesn't stay open. It will open then close right away.

I only use this because the quality of the print edition and full web site are so bad. It's and freezes often.

Still asking for .99 to view articles but never mentions that in the app description.

So many things frustrate me about this app. Why list them all... I keep installing and uninstalling with the hopes of change.

I keep receiving a notice stating that I have reached my free articles for this 30 day period, that I need to pay $.99 to continue reading the articles. Since when to we have to pay, NO where in the app updates or description does it say in app purchases??

This was fine until they sold out and now have an absurd ad that takes up the entire screen, that you can't close, hence making all articles absolutely unreadable. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of grammatical errors. Shoot, I could write for the paper and do a better job.

Even more frustrating, when a notification comes in and you click on it, the article about the notification is NEVER to be found in the app. This has happened 100% of the time when I do click on a notification.

Install & uninstall 3 times. Still cannot read any news. App restarts...restarts...restarts 5.0.0.2 update on 4/28 does not work, either. Nor does 5.0.0.3 5.0.0.5 doesn't work, try again? BTW. ..the ad links function. Maybe that's all that matters. Tried again today. Still not working. Other Rumble APPs work. Installed version 6 on 7/19......still crashes, but doesn't restart. Update on 9/27.....version 6.2.3 appears to be fully functional! Thanks Randy.

Can't finish scrolling and reading the article it just exits out.. very agitating!

Don't bother installing, it never opens!!!

Have had to reinstall every other day since I downloaded last year. Now articles will not scroll so you can only read the first line or two. York Dispatch app works better.

This app USED to be good when it was "powered by Spreed". Back then it was fast and reliable. Now that they have switched to "Rumble" nothing loads. Ever. You can see headlines eventually, but, if you click on one, the app just stalls. Also, its neat that they have breaking news notifications, but again, when you click on one, the story never loads. Sad, this used to be a great way to stay up to date with local news.

Does not work !!!always shutting down .and now they want to charge u to read thought thats what the many ads are you have up between your articles give it up ydr better yourself i know if i have a 3star rating i would do something about it

Stinks! Wont load after several updates

I love that I have the news at my fingertips whenever I want it. The latest 6.0.0.2 update made this app faster and easier to use. Works great on my HTC vivid. Just don't like the auto notifications that I can't turn off.

This was a great app with 5 stars. Since they started updating it a few months ago it doesn't run right. It will start up, but it won't load the stories.

I don't know why the update messed it up but it did just like everyone said the stories won't load anymore
