I grew up with reading the Macomb Daily Paper.I couldnt wait to get home to see what the news was. They are very trustworthy nonjudgemental and tell you the facts. Im 52 and i still Love their reporting. I can still remember smelling the ink....lol. i wish there was a smell app for your favorite smells. The Macomb Daily would be one. Now I want their news on my face book page. But havent figured how to do it yet but i will. Thank MD for your many years of honest reporting.D.Milo

Crashes a lot. Is mixed with Oakland County news. Doesn't put the main headlines on top. I'm not sure who they use to program their app but I would consider going in a different direction. Look to the Free Press and News for direction.

Too few stories and no search

The app works fine but the liberal slant of the reporting is annoying. I prefer to read just the facts (ALL the facts) and then make up my own mind

This new app is horrible, definitely not user friendly. Go back to the old app. Remember the old adage if it's not broke don't fix it.

Well you screwed up your goal. Your app needed updating for sure. It had bugs. You seem to have fixed that but the new format sucks. More buttons to push , I do not need. More ads, I do not need.

Prior version would lock on a single date. This version crashed within 3 minutes.

Macomb daily paper the best

Another failed version. Still choppy, poorly designed app that seeks to send you to advertisers rather than operate smoothly.

Not worth your time!! Very disappointed!

This app is terrible! Ever since the last update, it loads and then consistantly crashes. I don't need to read this Republicon rag anyway. Macomb Daily? No, it's the Make it up Daily.

This app works for a month and reverts back to locking up and being non responsive. This is a LONG standing problem that they never fix.

Another failed version. We put a probe on a flying comet yet cannot get a good Macomb Daily app. Quit focusing on ad revenue and serve your readers.

New version still has problems - locks up and doesn't load properly. That load circle is annoying to watch. I monitored the article summary load, and noticed the advertisements all loaded, the news articles never did. I also use other news apps; they load & run flawlessly. Such a shame, because I am a subscriber to home delivery, and use the app to stay in touch when away from home.

Hasnt worked in many months so reading the Detroit News will replace this.

Every time macomd daily app cannot respond...Sick of losing precious time to my life!!!!

This never loaded on my tablet so I removed it. Funny how other papers all load fine. Guess The Macomb Daily doesn't want online readers.

New & improved version still has problems - locks up and doesn't load properly. I also use CBC News app and it loads & runs flawlessly.

App was working fine till one week ago. Now it either asks me "what edition" with no edition choices or it gives me the loading circle and never loads. I removed and re-installed and it is doing the same.

App is Totally Useless now! Stories on app were dated 5/3 and today is 5/31 so I tried an update. Now app won't even open, says "Choose Edition" but tapping on that nothing happens. Tried clear cashe and then tried uninstall then install again. Same result with both, app will not open as "Choose Edition" just sits on top. I really hope this gets fixed as I did like the app before. I will try again to see if you fix this in the next few weeks.

Format is good but world news shows local and high school sports shows news from over a month ago. Refreshing does not give recent news in some sections. I'm out-of-state and like to keep up with news from back home. Hope someone from the MD looks into this.

Same as others, stopped working recently and asks for edition. Local traffic was always Oakland, California. Really, 21st Century?

I have finally had enough of this useless app. Old "news" dominates - when the app is working. Now the "choose edition" option has returned, and, like before, it does nothing.

Does nothing but hangs on loading when selected to run.

Update again fails. Asks me to choose an edition, yet no choices appear. REALLY??? Uninstalling and using the mobile website, AGAIN.

I use an android cell phone. Every so often, this app requests me to pick an edition - with no choices offered. I have to remove the app and re-install. They don't always update the info presented.

This app has a lot going for it. But the frequency of updates spoils them all. As far as I can tell news articles are updated at most once a day. The traffic map shows San Francisco! The only thing that works flawlessly is the advertisements. Update - Now it doesn't even launch. Just says "pick an edition".

That's what I keep asking myself every time I have to delete and reinstall this app when it screws up. Also, I shouldn't have to go to the Freep for the most up-to-date news in Macomb County, but I do until this gets quicker. Two stars was generous...

Just give up already and discontinue this garbage. Your obviously too incompetent to produce anything workable here.
