Daily Local for Android

Suddenly stopped working on my android galaxy 7 tablet. Previously had worked properly. Sent all crash reports with no reply. Will not open. Reports "Sorry DLN has stopped". Guess no one cares so I'm uninstalling.

I have installed this app 3 times and it never worked! Its horrible!

Re installed several times. Cannot even open the app.

Good app for almost all content. However, cannot find obituaries.

The new firmat is teerible. Plus there is no police blotter in the menu. Hard to navigate

No option to disable notifications

This app is terrible, please bring back the old one. Anymore there is nothing but sports, if I wanted that I'd go to a sports site

Miss the old version, can't find any way to change settings like turning off unwanted alerts

News section is gone

Galaxy Note 4 this app is very slow to load and constantly glitches when I want to read an article. I PAY for this app. I wish it could work smoother.

Offers a lot of interesting news stories that the bigger outlets really don't report on. It's a great way to keep up with changes in the smaller townships rather than the bigger cities in the area. The only downside is that it is a rather large app for only being a news app.

It takes an age for this ponderously slow app to load. Upon launch, the user must stare at a useless white screen for several seconds, for no apparent reason at all. After some free articles, it demands a subscription (despite also feeding you ads).

App needs a search function.

On my Galaxy S3, either only people through K die, or I can't figure out how to get the other half.

I uninstalled because the last update took away the local news section. What's the point of Daily Local News without daily local news? Update 7/21/14 - Reinstalled to give it another try. Crashes ALL the time!

The AP has old news but keep in mind this paper is slow to produce news anyway. Sharing features don't work well.

It really is a nixe app with a clean layout, but it seems to have trouble updating. I wanna like this app, but it's hard to.

Would be useful if actually updated. No high school sports. Does not match paper version at all.

With the recent changes, the app is much better. People should update their reviews.

Ever since the new update, it won't even open. If it does, you can't use it and needs to be force closed. Love this app before update.

Since your last "issue" and your "newest" update you lost me! I use to love this app.. But you had to keep trying to make it better when it was perfect just the way it was. Look at your comments from other readers. Go back to how it was! You didn't make it better with your last updates! Uninstall!

As mentioned in previous reviews, this app is broken and doesn't offer help in any way. Used to be a great app. Please change back!!

The app is broken. Keeps saying chose your edition but it has no choices and it keeps spinning. Please fix it I follow them on twitter so all is not lost. Great paper!

They updated the app, and now the main news page is gone. Not sure i will keep it.

The app no longer works. It prompts the user to "choose edition", but offers no actual choices.
