app wont even open now

too much non-news and opinion as news. very little objectivity in news reporting. too much movie star and media unnews as news. in short nearly a British tabloid instead of a real newspaper. looks like going for cheap ratings vs. real objective journalism (a lost art).

After several years, this is still the worst newspaper app on the internet. Too bad, since it is actually a great newspaper. How is it bad: For example, there is no search function. I get the EBT home delivery and wanted to share an article from today's paper, but could not find it using the app. How lame is that? As our Dear Leader would say: Sad!

Keeps me current keeps me current with my neighborhood area papers don't get wet only the East Bay times I always buy Sunday paper or early Saturday

I try to have faith, and support the bay area. But the app is not functional, c'mon mayne!!!

I get the EBT home delivery and would like to be able to read the paper on my pad instead. This app is terrible. It is unwieldy, for example it does not autorotate and the links take you to Web pages in your browser. Most of the local content is missing and the local content is the major reason I read this paper. They should hire the company that made the Sac Bee / McClatchy app or the Washington Post app. This app is almost useless. Very bad.

Won't load on my tablet and hasn't updated on my phone since 9/8.

Note 7: 1) The font used in body of articles is unreadable. Text size is adjustable, but all sizes are very fine-lined and gray looking. The font used in headlines is ok; the same font could be used in body of articles as well. 2) scrolling through headlines is unnecessarily jerky due, I think, to animation. Just allow a simple scroll! 3) Crashed all 3 times I tried it, once on launch and twice while in use. Note 7.

I just downloaded the app, after looking at 3 articles "ive reached my 30 day limit" are you serious??? Waste of time...horrible app

I am print subscriber. It keeps locking me out after reading one article. Please fix it.

Only lets you see 2 views then you got to install it do it again

It keeps limiting me despite my being a print subscriber. Skip it.

Had to uninstall the app to turn-off needless push notifications. The notifications would not even stop using the Application Manager.

Since I can't turn off the push notifications I'm getting after the recent update, I will be unstalling this application.

This app sucks..most of the time it won't open...

Sucks.

Content is not updated. Charge me for the app and I will pay if you update it in real time. For example: 2/22/12 to story on business page is about mozilla. Not available on app. Go to the mobile site, it's there. Will watch and update review when this changes.

The only recommendation I have is for a refresh button. Otherwise, perfect.

Thank you for finally making this app. Nice and clean; easy to use.

I love the fact that I could possibly read local news just from opening this app, however this app is horrible it freezes right in the middle of reading an article all the time! It is soooo frustrating that ive uninstalled it and moving on to another news app

After the last update it opens to the Table of Contents, and then closes. Please fix.
