Spotify Music

Been a loyal fan of spotify since it first came out. Recently went premium and not disappointed in the slightest. Sometimes doesnt have ALL music that Im looking for but has added a lot of missing songs and artists somewhat recently. Definitely worth the $10 a month to get those ads away. Used to not have so many ads, now its like ridiculous, but whatever; you dont have to worry about that at all with premium so yeah. Overall, a really good app for phones and fantastic for a computer or laptop.

Edit: still love the service but your app has been getting slower and slower! Takes forever to start up and to changes songs! It's becoming annoying! Best music service I have used and the app is easy to use. The premium is totally worth it. I save my favorite songs and can listen to them without using data. Also there are plenty of awesome play lists. I've discovered lots of cool lesser known artists through them.

Spotify was a little rough when they first started. Kind of felt like another SoundCloud. Man oh man how they have grown, though. The selection is absolutely fantastic, the interface intuitive and attractive, and the rates very reasonable (particularly if you're a student). I also find about 2/3rds of my music through Discover Weekly, which in and of itself is a really really neat and creative idea. Lastly, being able to easily share music and collaborate playlists with friends is absolutely phenomenal.

Doesn't have all that I'm looking for but that is expected, some artists are missing songs, and wish every artist had a little bio it's fun reading those that do have them. What I want the most though I'd an alarm function, setting an alarm wish your songs shuffled or picked would be very nice. That would bump it up to 4, don't think I could honestly ever give it all 5 cause well I'm human I'll always want more and some of what I currently want will most likely never be added (song wise). Yet by far this is the best music app I have ever had. Hands down, I'm down with random downloaders and hoping they work just to get 3 songs then have to get a new downloader.

Really disappointed in your latest update. Forcing me to play my library only in shuffle and not the song I want and not being able to play an individual song from the search bar is really a dick move from your end. I get it if you limit the song skips or listening to your ads but this is just too far because if Spotify would be available in my country I would've bought the full version. So it's not that I don't wanna buy it, I just cant. You even removed peeking the next song FFS. The times when I recommended this app to others are over. I hope this strategy was worth it.

I am absolutely in love with this on my tablet. But when I play music on my phone, I can only do it in shuffle mode, and it only lets me skip a certain amount of times. Please make phone as good a quality as tablet, then I'll give it 5 stars. (UPDATE 5/6/17) The ads are now broken, so I can only listen to about three songs at a time... please fix!

For a long time Spotify worked great. I bought a full subscription and it was amazing to have access to all this music. But for the last few months the app hasn't worked at all on my phone, and I've only been able to use it on my computer. If something doesn't change soon I'm going to cancel my subscription.

2 stars for now. When it brings up "click here for 30 mins of ad free music" I click it and it opens a Web page to a local election in my area. Doesn't bother me. Until I go back to Spotify and it won't get off that screen. Doesn't play music can't skip it I have to close the app down and start over. And of course it doesn't grant me the 30 mins music free. And " click here" pops up again. I try sharing the Web page on twitter thinking that will grant me 30 mins. Nope still sticks to the screen and have to close the app and start over. Last about 4 songs until it happens again. Switching to 8 tracks until this is resolved. 5 star without question when fixed.

I would have rated this a five. But recently the app itself has been freezing up and not playing adds. Even if I close it out and come back in it only shows the blank non playing add screen. Not to happy with this app as of late. Honestly better off using YouTube at least then I can find the songs I want and not have to pay for it.

My wife also has Spotify and for some reason on hers it'll just stop playing. Even when no other apps are running. It is updated and pays for the premium. It'll stop playing and close out of the app all on its own and since I've been writing the review it has stopped playing three times. If it wasn't for that is give it a 5 star review. She has had it for almost 2 years and it just started doing this for about 3 weeks. Help please. We love Spotify so this is a major set back

The song suggestions annoy me so badly. I just want to listen to one artist on shuffle play. If I have a comedian playing, I don't want Lady Gaga to start up. It's stupid. Or if i am listening to classical, I should have to use all my skips to get rid of Katy Perry. Please get rid of the suggested songs or at least make it an option to turn off.

I have been using this app for a few years now and even without premium I can like songs I hear on playlists or radios and then add them to my own playlist with all the music I like. I usually never have to skip unless I'm just trying to find a bunch if songs to like and add to my playlist.

GREAT for making your own playlists to listen to while relaxing at home, hanging out with friends, working/or working out. A solid variety of known & unknown artist. Just wish some of the same songs weren't listed or credited to others because then you get them several times. I thing Spotify has done alot to be rude rid of that.

I've tried Apple Music, Google Play Music and lots of others but none quite match to Spotify in terms of quality. Pretty much all the music you could ever want is here (apart from The Black Keys which stills annoys me). The platform has amazing cross platform support which is handy for a person who switches to multiple PCs and phones on a daily basis. The social features are nice too and the Playlist creation is amazing too. Improvement wise, I would like to see a smart playlist function like Apple Music.

Can't listen to music because the ads do not load. They want me to tap on the button to watch a short video to get 30 minutes free. But there's no ad. It's just a black screen. I can't get off of it, so it's stuck there, even when I close the app. Fix this, and I'll give 5 stars.

Ever since the new update, the ad/reward system has been so broken. Ads have become more frequent and they would randomly hang causing the app to become useless. Stopping and restarting the app would do nothing, so I would essentially be dead in the water until I either uninstall/reinstall or wait it out. Songs have also randomly started skipping. It's good when it works…

You need to make the music run in the background and make the service that holds the notification to be foreground, im a premium user, and with the latest update i find it very hard to switch songs from my car and music is being killed whenever the app is closed. I need to focus on driving and not switching the songs manually. Please do something. In latest update, it takes forever to exit the back when click on back button. The app should exit whenever it is in the home page.

I used to have Spotify premium but decided to ry the free version to save some money. But it won't play at all. Once it's tries to play an add it just freezes. Doesn't play the add just blank screen where it should be playing. I've always loved Spotify but I'm not going to go back to premium if the free service won't work.

Song recommendations are only okay if you provide the ability to skip/block them. The playlist made with only one song from a particular album is due to me not liking the others from it, so why force me to listen to them? Not satisfied at all. Edit: Your ADS crash as well. Sub par product.

You can't just simply press play on a song. It's Stuck on shuffle. You only get a couple skips per day. Terrible. Groove Music CRUSHESSSS this. Unlimited plays. Download ans play offline. Play whatever song you want, phone, Xbox, etc. Tons of music + lyrics + music videos. Spotify Cant keep up.

Hi Spotify, I having premium account subscription, and valid until 06th of June 2017, I using my Facebook to get Spotify now. But now I had change my Facebook account, and now I can't enjoy my premium Spotify, because, every time I log in, Spotify always notify me that I don't have any Facebook account connected to Spotify. And also said that I don't have any subscriptions. Can you help me to solve my problem? Thank you.

I used to love the app until I started to get the "30 minutes free thanks to the following sponsor." advertisements that won't play. I uninstalled and then reinstalled but I still received these dead ads. Even if I exit out of the app and reopen it the ad is still there even though it says it's 0 seconds out of 0 seconds. I can't listen to music anymore and this is incredibly frustrating! Please fix this issue!

New version is glitchy, can't play my playlists or anything else since the initial ad freezes the app. I'm on Google pixel xl, so it's def not my phone. SOL until this is fixed. Up until this point, it's pretty user friendly, just sometimes the song suggestions are really random and you will have to go through 5 in a row before you can get back to the playlist. Other times, I've discovered great songs from the suggestions.

Netflix of music right here. Performance has came along way from the day I started using it in 2012. Great app to have if ur a music head like myself. Still well worth the $10 a month ive been shelling out for 2 yrs+. Customer support is also awesome. Easiest 5 star rating ever. Cant believe im updating my comment for the 4th time praising this app. They added a offline mode toggle button. Im so weak right now. Thank you for great service spotify!!!

I love it because I can make Snapchat videos with it. But I absolutely hate how it says I get 30 minutes of add free music and then 2 or 3 songs later i get a new add. I also wish I could just listen to a song with out playing a playlist. I also wish there was unlimited skips per week or something. But I do like the wide selection of music because there is everything I need

I love this app but lately it hasn't been giving me the option to watch videos for an ad free 30 minutes. It will give me the actual ad saying I can by watching a video, but then won't give me the button. And then, just last night, I finally got the button and clicked it. But now it won't show me the video and it won't change, it's frozen on a black screen

I don't understand, when I go to settings in my phone and I do force stop to Spotify and I open again but Spotify log out from my phone.. I just force stop not log out account or clear data.. why?? Please fix it! I beg u, honestly I love Spotify so much, so easily to know the new song from my favorite singer ❤❤❤❤

Spotify has always been great UNTIL NOW! For some reason, there has been so much lag with this app lately. Constant loading which takes several minutes, even when connected to WiFi. What's the deal you guys?! We need to get this fixed!

It is great I love it, it has most songs I like and very good quality too. I don't have premium but my brother does it's definitely worth it. I have a bug however , whenever I click on the ad for the 30 minutes ad free, it goes to a black screen and stays there even when I close the app. plz fix

This app converted me to streaming music...something I didnt think I would do haha but I dont regret it! Worth it to use this app...would be 5 stars but I wish it would restart the music again after I played a vid randomly through a song so i didnt have to go back to continue to play the song :) but an awesome app!

May 4th update broke the app, now crashing on startup. Will rate 4 stars when it works again. ............ Can't believe people are so mad about the new color. I like it. Doesn't work well with my earphones though and has a few skips somehow.

Normally I would give th is app 5 stars but since the update on my samsung s7 edge the app will offer 30mins ad free if I watch the video but the video never starts and it freezes. I clear out my recent apps and open it again and it is still stuck, I have to restart the whole phone to reset it. Frustrating!!

This app is great if you purchase the premium version. If you are using the free version you will be bombarded with repetitive ads that disrupt your playlist. In addition, you select a playlist you created and it plays a radio station based on that playlist instead. I purchased the premium version for my mom and I will need to do the same for myself or it will drive me crazy.

Love this! Spotify is great and so easy to use! Even if you aren't sure about it (as im sure you are) they offer a 7 day free trial spotify premium without credit card. Free is okay but premium is alot better, didnt make a HUGE diffrence for me but slightly.

I LOVE Spotify and pay for the premium. The only problem I have is on my samsung edge it acts funny and will freeze or Ill pause it/turn it off but itll keep going. And it lags a little. But I think that might be a phone problem

First of all, obviously a great app and service! However the mood is darkened by the fact that syncing with desktop and finding the songs on your PC in Spotify doesn't work so well. You can see they don't want you to have your own songs.

Your app keeps having problems loading the ads. It freezes up and then I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it to get past that stuff. I don't mind listening to add but when they don't even play and it stops the whole program, that's a problem! Please fix this issue! The few songs that I have been able to hear I loved!

Edit: better. Not great, but better. Keep it up -- What have you done? It just doesn't function. It takes an age to load even a local list, if it ever does load, it lags and jumps about, and if you try and ask it to do anything like skip or go back, the damn thing crashes! It worked well and now it is like someone upended a bag of gremlins into the thing

I decided to make use of the SD card storage feature for the app to make a complete 360 on me. My songs freeze and skip now. My app crashes and freeze in the most basic of spots! Like just opening the app caused it to freeze 6 times! Without the SD card this app works fine! I would recommend not using this app and just downloading all the music you can from cds.

Every time it asks me to watch an ad for 30 minutes of ad free listening, the ad never loads. I'm stuck on a blank screen with no options and every time I close and reopen the app, it returns to the same screen. The only way to fix it is to restart.
