Parental Control App to block apps on Android Phone

Do you find your children doing things they shouldn’t be doing on their phone with certain apps? Do your children sit on their phones way too much and not interact as much as they should be? Or do you, have apps on your own phone that you want to have blocked so no one else can get to them, then this app is right for you. Other companies charge monthly fees to use their services and don’t provide a parent app directly on the parent’s phone. We do. There is a one-time fee per phone and that is it.

SpotCheck was created to help parents do a spot check of their child’s phone, either from the parent’s phone or directly on the child’s phone. This app will allow you to block apps that are already installed on the child’s phone. You can also use the “Recommended Apps” button to pre-select apps to be disabled before the child installs these apps on their phone. You can also time block apps so apps that you choose can only be used during certain times of the day and say, not during school hours.

There are two apps that should be installed on the child’s phone, one app, AdvancedSecuritySC.apk is optional, this app, will alert the parent if the app has been uninstalled from the child’s phone via text message. The other app is the main app, SPOTCheck, which loads the apps to be managed on the child’s device. When using the main app, you can choose to set the phone up either as the child device or the parent’s device. If you are downloading the app on the child phone and the parent’s phone, it is recommended to install the app on the child’s phone first. In the child app, there are instructions on how to disable the uninstall feature of this app as well, but again, it is recommended to have the AdvancedSecuritySC.apk installed on the child’s phone just in case they figure out how to re-enable the apps uninstall feature.

You will also be able to monitor what websites your child is visiting via Google Chrome. You will see a history of their browser searches.
