BigGameRegs is excited to bring “Washington 2016-2017 BigGameRegs” The Season includes Interactive maps with area boundaries and regulations ( regs ) for Black Bear, Bighorn Sheep, Cougar, Deer, Elk, Moose and Mountain Goat.
Washington hunting regulations (BigGameRegs) is a location based hunting regulations application and you can choose a satellite, terrain or road view of the map. As you move around the map, the hunting areas are highlighted with individual colors so you can see the boundaries.
You can also find your current location on the map or you can drop a pin on the map. Selecting that pin will display a flag containing the information about the hunting area or areas in that area. If you select that flag, it will display all the hunts for the selected animal. The hunts include general hunts as well as draws and other special hunts.
The list of hunts is color coded for the type of weapon, animal characteristic, subspecies etc. This makes it easy to scan the list of hunts to find the hunt that meets your needs. When you select a hunt from the list, the information from the hunting reg is displayed in a format that's easy on the eyes - you can see details about the animal, licenses, dates, area and so on. If you want to see more detail, you can select each section to see the details from the hunting regulation itself.
This is the only is the only app that makes it easy to combine a location search and a hunting details search.
BigGameRegs takes the stress out of understanding and complying with complex hunting regulations and license requirements. The app is ideal for sportsman planning a hunt, looking for trophy areas, checking compliance while in the field using your GPS, or simply learning more about specific regulations while looking for a great hunting spot in real time. It includes equipment regulations for archery, gun and modern firearm, muzzleloader, etc.
The app with the Hunting Seasons is for a specific Hunting year. Washington 2016-2017 BigGameRegs is from June 2016 to May 2017. We will be updating the app with 2017-2018 regulations shortly, and that will be a free update.

Perfect for hunting

Purchased this app.. it works ok but locks up and quits working. The bad thing is some how my CC has fraudulent charges over $300 since this purchase. Funny their company is out of Issaquah WA, and items were ordered with my CC and delivered to an address in Covington WA just minutes away.

The problem with the navigation arrow has been fixed.

The navigation arrow does indeed have a problem. It is an incompatibility with Marshmallow devices only. We (I'm on the development team) are working on a fix. In the meantime, the navigation will work correctly if you update your settings. In the main Settings on your device, select Apps, then our app. Select Permissions, then turn on Location permissions.

Looks cool but when I click on the navigation arrow in the map, it shuts down the app. Get this fixed and it will be great.

It's convenient to have this in your pocket while hunting. I understand it says big game on the app, but since we are paying for this thing it would be nice if regs for other species were included... such as waterfowl... small game etc.
