Sportroops

Sportroops is a web & mobile marketplace dedicated to sport activities & events: open the app on your mobile, a map will display all sport events around you. You can then either filter through them to select the ones you are interested in or create your own event.

Filters can be very precise : you know your time, place, price range and type of event (which sport, with or without a coach). Filters can be suggestive : you tell us how you feel, what are your expectations (weight loss, socializing, prepare a challenge…etc) and the app tells you what’s the best fit for you.

We aim to change the way people consume Sports in their everyday life: every activity you can think of, we want to bring it to you, directly on your mobile thanks to thousands of sport event providers we are teaming up with: gyms & fitness centers, coaches of over 200 different sports, local associations & clubs, private actors organising tournaments, challenges, runs but also users of the platform whom want to share their activity with friends or new acquaintances.

With Sportroops we create very strong social bonds within our user base. Each coach or gym will create a follower base instantly and can easily communicate and share content with them. We don't want our users just to purchase sport activities here, we want to get to know them. Why? because we want to offer them EXACTLY what they need. Users can then just ask us "I want to lose weight", "get fit", "discover a new sport", "something fun or extreme", "training/discovery class for my kids" or even "find a date /meet my soulmate at an event" and they will get the best, customized sport offers around them.
