Splashtop Wired XDisplay for Android
Not working, I managed to get the free version working, so decided to pay for the "full" product. Now neither are working and I'm down £5. Using to have a tablet as a CAM screen. So latency isn't really an issue but please help as the product is decent...... when it works.
Somewhat OK. But has got my second screen clipped at the bottom and right sides. Left endside shows weird green noice only? Top end has unused area. Compatibility mode fixes it. But unbearably latency. Please fix this positioning problem or allow manual override on XY positioning. Severely impacting
Works like a charm as a secondary display, but I havd a huge problem with the mouse. I cannot move the cursor. If I press on the screen of the tablet it clicks only in the top left corner of the screen, and the curson don't moove. How to click on a button from my touch screen when i use duplicate display?
I got this app to add a second screen to my laptop for use with school and it has worked flawlessly with my Samsung Galaxy Tab s 10.5. I haven't had any problems and have used it most days for the last few weeks. Great purchase!
Could do with lots of improvements it laggs quite alot and I think this is out due to the asking price, please can you make some fixs to improve this... Or offer a discount as I'm a student at university and Got this to help with my degree... But as you know it's money I don't really have so I'd appreciate a discount if you can't fix it
Works well enough for productivity. Pros: easy setup, great price at $7, simple interface. Cons: slight, but noticeable lag on the secondary device even with USB connection which makes videos annoying to watch. I don't know about wifi, but I didn't buy it for that. I will purchase for other devices. Free trial was key to making me a paying customer. Good job!
App is actually OK. It does the job quite fine except one MAJOR fact. It slows the WHOLE computer. When I plugged android tablet to my mac, whole computer has one freaking lag, everything is slover. It looks like my computers is accessed through some kind of emulation so there's lag on everything.
Works wonderfully. I had a few hiccups getting it set up. I had two Android Devices plugged in and that really made things wonky. I unplugged the second device and instantly second screen worked.
It slows down my MacBook pro display. Even cursor starts lagging. I would like to have refund. Secondary display itself is the best I've ever found.
It only took me ten minutes to realise that this is exactly the product I needed to spend my money on. For those familiar with osu!, I'm not sure how this holds up for advanced osu! players, but it is perfect for casual players like myself.
Great app, works as it should. Easy to set up and only a slight mouse delay which would only affect you while playing but is totally fine for watching movies or doing office tasks. Used devices : Lenovo carbon X1 gen1 and Lenovo tab 10
Purchased for my daughter when her laptop screen failed away at university. She was able to attach her 10" tablet as a mirrored screen such that she could access and complete her project deadlines. Lifesaver!
Works flawless! No lag with my Galaxy S7 Edge. Allows me to stream my computer screen live from my phone's fast upload data speed with no buffering to YouTube. Highly recommend this app if you have a device that has a good processor and a good amount of RAM that will prevent any lag.
Don't waste your money on this. The lag is horrible.
Input delay on high resolutions, slight lag on something near 720p, and cursor likes to blink and disappear while moving. But I guess those are technical limitations, and other than that this is a great product.
It's a pretty much inexpensive way to have a second monitor using my 9.7" tablet. For so small purposes, it works great. I can have OBS running in the second monitor while I have my webinar presentation on the main monitor and through the second monitor I can view and check if everything's OK.
This product worked on my laptop running Windows 10 and my Samsung Tab A once, and then hasn't worked since. After jumping through all of the hoops of making my tablet run in developer mode, now the tablet only mirrors the computer screen instead of extending it. This should be an easy fix, except that it is impossible to get customer support through this company. I have emailed the address on Play's site and also through Splashtop's site and gotten nothing. Many of the "help" links, included the listed above in the description, are broken and don't take you anywhere. It appears that Splashtop used ZenDesk to handle their customer support but then ended their contract. However, they apparently don't have any other service to take it's place. So basically you're own; there won't be any help. I'm incredibly disappointed in Splashtop for these glaring oversights in customer support. I would not recommend this product to anyone until there is better troubleshooting help from the company.
The screen is so laggy not sure if its the table but my mouse cursor just skips around on an with duelt display on an ipad its so much better.
Works very well. Slight lag but overall a brilliant app! Great tool to have
garbage app cant wok this is defraud I pay for nothing 垃圾软件根本用不了这是诈骗
Seems mostly pretty good, but first I tried it it made skill my flash for about a minute, and when it's connected Netflix doesn't work on any screen
Extended Display on a Budget! Perfect for monitoring your investments on the go, while you work on your laptop. Works great on my old Samsung Note 3!!
I paid this version and works worse than that free version ....
Great! But laggy and hard on the CPU of the pc. About 30 percent usage on an i5 6500 with full settings.
Wish I could get my money back... it worked once and after that no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get it working again.
Slightly laggy but it does the job.
Works great, but don't use it with an old or broken USB cable
Works great some lag but it is acceptable. Better than buying a portable monitor.
You guys need to make a vr app!
Workstation flawlessly, very worth the price (in fact very economical for the value)
At last a remote screen app that actually works. Well done
Works perfectly with Samsung Galaxy View 18" display.
Works great on everything that I've used it on from XP and up
Works great on my phone and tablet. Highly recommend.
Running on a Samsung 12.5 tablet. Works great.
Very good so far.
The best app
It *works*. Win10 laptop (Asus T100) with Nexus 7 (2013) and my Huawei Honor 5x. There aren't that many options, but you *do* have multiple resolutions available, and if you set it to normal clarity with high refresh, you can actually watch Netflix on the tablet screen with the audio *almost* in sync 100% of the time. I suspect a faster PC would work even better. @1920x1200 resolution, it's usable as a reader. @ default resolution, my Netflix test, 960x600 or similar. NO OTHER APP I TESTED AND BOUGHT WORKED. Spent over $50 on apps, none worked. This one did.
Great app! Only problem is that when i have disconnected and quit the app, the little icon still stays on top in my Android action bar (top left corner). I have to go in on Settings -> Apps -> WiredXDisplay -> FORCE STOP. Only that removed the icon in top left corner. Do i have to force stop it every time?

$7 and it uses my existing 12" android tablet, and it runs great at 1080p. Compare that to about $100 for a really cheap 1080p portable monitor, and the $7 price looks really good. There is a small bit of latency and it doesn't manage 60 fps but it is well within acceptable limits. I wouldn't expect to use this for gaming or watching videos, but for web browsing, photo viewing, chat windows, spreadsheets, maps, and other things like that, it works great.
