Works perfectly on my arm-based device but crashes on my intel android device. More and more Intel-based android devices are coming out in the market. upgraded to a new android lollipop tablet with intel processor and this app crashes. Please fix. EDIT: using version2.0.7.5. Working OK. But can't seem to click on the task bar area.

Very good job indeed. It could preferably use some improvements in the security sector. -Please had MORE security to both the android app and the Pc version -Please make a security procedure which includes adding an atleast GPS detector and device manager to see where and who connected to the streamer server. -And please add an administrator option which allows and denies certain remote access on the computer for example The windows accoutn and passwords. Also internet browser chrome etc. Password administration. You get the point of what I am saying. Otherwise this app is great and I would rate 6 stars if I could. Well done!!

This used to be a great product, but since the last update my phone has consistently identified my laptop as being on a seperate network even if they aren't, thus forcing me to subscribe. Switched to team viewer for a completely free alternative.

Y70%
by Y####:

This is still more than worth the price I pay, but over the last update or two I can no longer stream videos because they're very choppy. I've tried their fixes and nothing has worked. For all other uses this program's the best for my money though.

Just set it up today and I'm extremely impressed. I monitor my pet at home, change videos playing and watch through the webcam. I used several apps for these in the past, but I've been having issues with them after getting a new computer. This is a complete solution in one app. I love it!

Y70%
by Y####:

Bought a yearly subscription to anywhere access for a year and I love it! One minor complaint however is that in track pad mode, click and drag doesn't function as it should like on ios. Perhaps this is an easy fix? Also I would like the keyboard button to be a permanent button on screen rather than clicking a button that brings up the option.

I used the app on my wifi network with no problems at all. Then I bought Premium and now I can't get it to connect to my PC on wifi. Just a black screen saying connecting but it never does. Updated PC software to see if helped but it didn't. £14.99 wasted.

Y70%
by Y####:

It doesnt stay connected all the time in the background it will randomly disconnect and ill have to log in all over again which is really annoying, there is also a small delay but thats fine. The random disconnecting is the biggest issue i think needs to be dealt with.

Now that I figured out how to use this app, I would give it ten stars if I could. I don't know about everyone else but for me there was a slight learning curve compared to some of the other apps out there. But, once you learn how to use it this feature-rich app rises above all the others hands down. I'm glad I gave it another shot.

Y70%
by Y####:

Suddenly unusable. When i connect, it goes to a black screen and i can hear the computer, only to crash 2 seconds later saying "unable to connect". Makes the app useless. Used to be hands down my favorite app. Will change score when fixed. EDIT: In response,I'm fully updated on mobile and pc. May even be what caused this problem.

I am trying this app and I think it is totally usefull ... I am a little bit shocked about who else can that do... I mean everybody enough smart can programm any device and nobody realises. The app sometimes is slow... pliz try to fix that. Thanks so much for that labor

I use it at work and home only complaint is that app makes me log in every time i open it even though I check stay logged in. At work I use it on a network that has no internet access so I have to switch networks to log in then switch back to use. Still a great system though

Besides one other company, the rest of the RDP apps have gotten WAY too expensive. I love that these guys came along and made the market competitive again. Occasional hiccups with disconnecting from one PC to connect to another, but other than that, this app is incredible.

F70%
by F####:

Whenever you connect the PC navigates to login screen. The Windows 8 touch mode does not work. On Samsung tab the words typed are placed outside the area in different apps and are placed in desired location after pressing Enter key

I've been using splash top and paying for the premium for five years now. It's been by far the easiest remote desktop client for a phone I've ever used. I find myself needing to remote into my desktop several times though out the week, especially when I'm no where near my desktop. This app allows me to temporary remote in and grab the files I need. This is obviously not the first company to give someone the ability to remote desktop, and sure there are awesome free alternatives, but I've recommended splash top to several people for the reason of it being so well executed, user friendly, and the easiest method to set this up. Please continue doing what your doing devs, and thank you for being my favorite.

It's a bit of a resource hog on my computer, but this app is such a great and useful tool that I don't know if I could ever function without it. Sure, my tablet is great and I can do a lot of things with it, but adding access to my personal computer from anywhere makes it a thousand times more functional. I've yet to encounter any issues with this app, and I'm using an Asus Transformer TF101 and a really out of date computer.

Y70%
by Y####:

Don't waste your time with this app anymore, every update just makes it worse! Now it shows all computers as being on a different network, (they aren't) and so won't connect without premium account. I used this app for years, but now I'm giving up. Chrome remote desktop or team viewer from now on.

Used to work fine. Latest releases have been terrible with laggy performance, remote sessions freezing (with perfect 300Mbps LAN connection) and general instability. I kept a version from July, reinstalled this and everything is again working fine. Conclusive that the latest updates are 100% to blame. Currently disabled auto update to stop it from breaking again.

Y70%
by Y####:

Choppy and slow compared to older versions of clients either on phone or desktop. Tried to diagnose and fix using online resources with no luck. Other remote desktop applications don't seem to have this issue.

Y70%
by Y####:

Can connect for around 10 seconds before connection drops. After the first dropped connection I can only connect if I force stop the app which allows me another 10 seconds before having to force close again. "Splashtop is the best remote desktop app to access your PC/Mac" not right now it isn't...

Y70%
by Y####:

It is showing my laptop is connected with another network and I can't use it remotely for free even though both are connected on same wifi network. Plz help, i think i have my wifi ssid hidden. It works well with my pc which is connected with lan but not working with laptop

Y70%
by Y####:

Only problem I don't like is that no matter how powerful your computer or Device you use is, you will see lag a ton when trying to watch a movie or play a game. However it's great for changing songs, seeing pics, and scaring the crap out of people who use your phone, tablet, or computer. Best part is the latter.

Y70%

Input prediction is off but it's still on and acting weird. Won't let me bypass Android's spell checker. Used to be fine now it's broken. Waiting for fix and using TeamViewer

Y70%
by Y####:

I've been using Splashtop for several years to access my PCs from my smartphone and it's been a lifesaver several times. Very reliable even on slow connections. It's gotten better and more solid with each release.

Y70%
by Y####:

Use it for my computers and to help support family computers. I'm always able to connect with no issue. One star off for not having the ability for 2-factor authentication for home use.

Use to be fine a few months ago but now I get really choppy fps during the remote session. I have verified that nothing on my end is affecting this. PC connected via Cat5e ethernet and Android 4.4 Tablet connected via 5ghz Wifi that's really close to where I use my tablet.

I used to be a paying user, but cancelled my subscription because keyboard input is broken. Customer support just insisted I'm using it wrong, despite having used it successfully for 2 years until a recent update.

T70%

This app is useless. You need a subscription to use this app. A few months ago you could freely use it with wifi..alternatively there is teamviewer which is free. I'm going to use that now.

N70%

Total pain in the ass, pretty frequently I can't click as it won't register input. Super buggy, always asking me to upgrade to premium. I would be happy to pay for premium if I was more certain the app would actually work for me.

I would say this is the best, fastest, and most reliable remote desktop. But of course the ui has to be a puke green mix of skeumorphism and trash. I regret every time I open it, but angrily accept that it is still the best remote desktop app.

Using to stream security camera video (screen image) from a mountain vacation home with slow speed satellite Internet. Most other programs either don't refresh fast enough or quality is poor or cost is prohibitive . Splashtop hit the sweet spot and annual cost for windows version of program is very reasonable.

Y70%
by Y####:

I have tried this application on numerous android based devices with great success. It works nearly flawlessly with my windows PCs. I have also tried this with Ubuntu PCs with a few flaws. I grant the program the 4 stars because the Linux streamer application is still in the beta phase.

B70%

I would have gave it a 5 stars but I wasn't able to pass the login screen after installing it on my Mac running El Capitan. I was able to set it up, login and access my Windows computer. I would also like to be able to run it in stealth mode to prevent that popup from showing up on the screen each time I connect or disconnect from a computer so I can check what my children is doing on the internet without them noticing it.

For droid Marshmallow talking to Ubuntu, launching the app with audio pre-streaming, the audio is heard automatically on the phone. It's loud and annoying. You have to immediately go to app settings and mute Scroll bar action is too fast. Even when prefs are set, it'll stop running after 5 or 6 hrs. The only way to relaunch is to reboot Ubuntu. Once on a while after a few minutes after selecting Quit button, it'll quit. Still luvit.

Y70%
by Y####:

I genuinely love this app and use it all the time but it seems to have some very annoying bugs. Like I will get disconnected and not be able to reconnect because of a "session is already in progress" error. Also, it recently seems to have permanently activated a keyboard issue where nothing gets entered to the device until space key or a special character is used. This is very annoying when it comes to entering usernames and passwords... If it weren't for those, I'd give 5 stars.

X70%
by X####:

I have been using this app for quite a few years now. No need to look anywhere else this app works great.

Y70%

I'm not going to create a stupid account just to use an app. I've got enough accounts. It's useless.

It does what it has to do but the subscription prompt is really really annoying when I try to connect to my pc. Really annoying!

I been using Splashtop for a couple years now and it has been such time saver for me. My perants ain't very tech savvy, so naturally I have to fix and maintain any problems on thier pc that pop up, sometimes it was just 5 minutes to fix a issue that would of just confused the hell out of them over the phone.. Spashtop works absolutely great long as the internet connection is decent on both ends.. I highly recommend Splashtop to anyone that wants access to a computer anywhere in the world anytime they need.

Used this app a while back and it worked fine. Recently had use for it again and my laptop and phone won't find each other. Very sad.
