I use this all the time in my math class. My laptop is hooked up to a projector in a large lecture class, and I can pass around my tablet and have students do the problem and it shows up on the screen for everyone to see.

Works as it should and Support responds promptly to comments and queries.

K70%

Poor annotation on tablet, besides lack of tablet capabilities software needs to be more precise in annotations.

Q70%
by Q####:

As far as I can tell there is no way to support the full functionality of the S pen, that is, this app cannot REJECT THE PALM!, It would be great if you could just place your palm on the screen and the app ignore it as input. Please add this functionality! Thanks!

I need a finer tip to do math problems on the board.

Q70%

Works pretty well so far - to me, the biggest flaw is the toolbar being displayed on my PPT while speaking. Any way to have this display on tablet only?

Z70%

Great app

Works Great. I use it regularly.

Q70%

love the program

Q70%
by Q####:

I've been pretty happy with this. It works effectively, it's responsive, it supports dual monitors reasonably well, and I'm happy with the feature set. My only complaints: default is to change the monitor resolution (personal preference) and that the drawing toolbar has to be displayed on the monitor and not just on the tablet. That be a nice change.

J70%
by J####:

Annotation tools inexplicably work on only one monitor but not the other. In my case, they work on the monitor that is not projected to the front of the classroom. They do however work on the screen not projected. Switching displays to primary display or secondary does not resolve the issue. Setting displays as clone is the only solution but defeats the purpose of dual monitors. Every projection system in our school is set up for dual extended monitors in this way, thus rendering this otherwise wonderful tool useless for all of them.

by Q####:

I am so happy with this app. I am a teacher and it allows me to stand in the back of the room and annotate all of my lessons without having to be in the front of the classroom like you would with a smartboard. It's like having a smartboard in your hands. Thankyou for this!

Q70%
by Q####:

Great for use in my class - makes annotation very easy. Only problem I am having is that the desktop client crashes randomly after updating to latest version. One thing I would like to see implemented if possible is to have the toolbars not be displayed on the projector display but only on the tablet during a presentation.

M70%
by M####:

Great app, but it tends to freeze on me. Three times now and I've only had it 15 hours! But when it's working, it is excellent.

J70%
by J####:

There are bugs galore in the desktop app. It locks screen brightness on win 8.1 and messes about with video rendering in other programs. It took me hours to figure out it was Splashtop's fault!

Y70%
by Y####:

I like everything about this app with the exception of the annotations. They are so "jerky" and make your writing almost impossible to read. They only way to potentially avoid this is to write so slow that your students fall asleep waiting on you. PLEASE fix the annotations. Also, clicking an icon takes way to long to register. I will keep this app in hopes that this if fixed because I have hope that this developer will correct this issue. 2 Stars until annotations and button clicks are fixed, then I will bump it to 5 stars.

T70%
by T####:

I was planning to use this app in my classroom as a replacement for my tablet PC. I was disappointed that the annotations have a large delay. It makes it impractical for class use.

I'm a teacher who uses my tablet in the classroom for teaching. Using this to control a PC works very smoothly, but the annotation is very, very choppy. It can't recognize medium-print handwriting, and if I do want to annotate across the screen I can only get about 5 legible words in. I am using a Galaxy Note 10.1 with both the normal stylus and an additional Samsung stylus that has enhanced accuracy. Splashtop Whiteboard doesn't have the ability to write fine-point handwriting. In order to project handwritten notes to the class I have to switch to a better app, and back and forth between the two. Eventually I just stopped using SW.

Buttery smooth on a Nexus 7 but horribly choppy on my galaxy note 8. I hope it gets fixed, but looking at the last update...Nov 2012? I should have paid better attention.

Z70%
by Z####:

bought this with high expectations coming from the nice ad and rave reviews but was disappointed with its actual performance. connection speed was not as fast as I was expecting it to be, actions like mouse clicks and drags lags noticeably enough to be annoying, doesn't recognize mouse clicks on taskbar notification pop-ups, and whiteboard pen response is too slow to be useful. they should have offered this for free until it's well-polished. expensive and currently not worth its price.

T70%

I can now use my android tablet in my classroom. Yipee, don't have to buy an ipad! Displays lanschool as well as lets me walk around class and display math problems.

F70%
by F####:

Oh my goodness. This app is the best thing a tablet user can have in a classroom. It makes collaboration take full flight, as I access current student work for instant classroom reflection and annotation from anywhere in the classroom at any time. I can send sound, video, text, anything straight to the interactive whiteboard - and the whiteboard still work interactively if I choose to tap on it's so does the PC. It's like having 3 interactive systems all linked together. Brilliant. Thank you so much for creating this.

V70%
by V####:

The app is too slow to be of any use to anyone. I have a very fast wireless connection. I am right next to the laptop. This app cannot be used in place of a traditional white board and marker pens . Too slow!!!!!!! Was too late to get a refund, still a fool and his money etc!

H70%
by H####:

On the up side, I love how the app works. Navigation is not too hard to figure out --less than five minutes by my account. On the down side, the app eats up your data plan like CRAZY (like hundreds of MB on half-hour use, I think). So for mirroring purpose, I think I'd still wait for something better that MirrorOp

Testing this app and setup for a school that's about to roll out tablets. First impressions are extremely positive and with tons of features this app is a must have.

Really useful. Quick and effective, I use this in the classroom now to great effect.
