The spin remote is a non finished product. They have been claiming now for 10 months to support lg TV s. However no updates arrived at all...I'm gonna sell it

Philips hue control is quite bad ,sometime it won't control the lights that were registered nor you can see which ones are selected on a certain gesture. It also takes the device couple of seconds to wake up from sleep mode. Overall it's cute but not a replacement, I'm working with the support on several bugs. I will update once the new version is out

Sadly the application and device have serious issues staying connected to my Hue setup. The application constantly fails to recognize the spin device. This causes me to have to either reboot my device or force close the application to restore the hue functions.

I can no longer use my Spin remote as the latest app update is forcing me to update the remote. However, the update fails at the 'uploading update' stage every time I try. Can no longer use the remote. EDIT: Very helpful support team helped me with a workaround. Unfortunately it was quite a long winded workaround, and I still don't like the app very much - they seem to constrain you to only make certain choices with certain gestures, which means I can't quite customise the remote as I'd like.
