Star Wars Force Band by Sphero

My wife got me the Force Band for Christmas and I've had a blast with it so far. As of now there are only 2 thing I see that need to be changed. The sound of the Millenium Falcon firing sounds like an AT-AT and the card for Rey's lightsaber is actually Anakins lightsaber. Other than that I'm having a great time with it. Thank you!

After reading some reviews, I feared the worse. So I watched tutorial videos to guide me through the easy setup. We were successful in our endeavors and it's working perfectly. Sphero, we were amazed with your original ball, now I'm smitten BB-8. It's so cute! Thank you for such a great Droid and force band.

its so fun collecting holocrons and playing with bb-8 without the fuss of the phone. my only problem is that the turning wasnt really explained in the games tutorial, but the game is just for practice and it doesnt actually matter. it worked very well with the sphero. I also would prefer if they added all of the blasters and ships to combat training.

The band is the most fun way to control your bb8 unit. The motion control is tricky at first but easy to master. And the mini games like force awareness training ate a fun bonus. I found myself wearing the force band around on a daily basis even without bb8 by my side.

Very fun but I am hoping they expand it. Add more holocrons to collect and more weapons to play with. I have had a lot of trouble with the ifft component but my net is spotty too. I also hope they expand the droid app so that bb8 can watch other star wars movies with you.

The technology with The BB-88 is truly amazing. Sometimes a bit laggy, but I still dig the hell out of it! Well Done! And to prove this is real I am gonna put something they wouldn't write.... Placenta! There...Now you know!

I think the force band is a great little gadget. I love the force awareness mode and collecting holocrones. I really hope you add extra holocrones to collect however I've noticed you haven't updated for a long time now and I'm concerned now that you have forgotten about this and have no intention of adding extra features to this great gadget.

Wont pair Uninstalled 2 times junk don't waste your money. I did reach out to you and you said to power on force band and select droid mode which i cannot do because it wont recognize the band. Then you said when prompted to hold my force band next to my force band to connect, i do not know what you are talking about

I have a Galaxy Note 4 and I can't even get it to pair. It picks it up but won't pair. This is not good when u have a 4 yr old wanting to play with his gift and can't while everyone else can play with their things. I am not about to email when there are more than 10 complaining about your app. Plus help and fix.

The Force Band is great but I see only 1 problem. I can't make BB-8 come back to me. Please fix this. There should be an option where you can battle with other people nearby using your combat weapons.

While a little expensive the two products both force band and bb8 app enabled droid are truly a star wars fanatics perfect present. While there are some small niggles such as the restricted controls offered by the forceband compared with the full range of macros available in the bb8 droid app, hopefully though more features will be added to the app in updates or failing that some open source hat hackers may be able to help develop unique and interesting controls via both app or force band directly itself

Works fairly well, new features I would like to see: -More and reguparly updated Holocron's, that maybe do more than just sit there, -force choke feature? -other applications of the force -More weapons for force band to use!! And lastly a connection between the band and bb8 apps so you could control bb8 app and band wise simultaneously or something like that would be superb

The force band is awesome ,there is so many thing to do with it,I love the band but my force band keeps disconnecting from the app, if im doing the tutorial with the fake bb8(still fun) bb8 just stops. it makes me sad but I try my best to have fun. I have the band and the normal bb8 if I could have all the sphero toys that will be the best. Thanks sphero for your products.

I love this app and I love the force band. I can fart around with it for hours and still feel nostalgia whenever I hear Ben Kenobi telling me to choose my activity or get irritated in the force awareness mode when Ben tells me that I must learn patience. Pleeeease add more content to this amazing piece of technology. You've made the BB-8 epic with the draw mode and the fact that he can watch rogue one, you can make this relic even more righteous.

Fun product as a Star Wars fan I don't even need the BB-8. Wish the controls for the lightsaber sounds were a little more percise. Hope to have maybe expansion updates in the future.

Have too many problems with this app, it never finds the band. Have to force stop the app and reopen to get it to connect.

I love the force band, such a cool piece of kit. I am into gadgets and star wars and even though I am 50 yes 50 years old lol I can't get enough of this.

I'll give 5 stars if you can add a follow mode where it detects the wristband and follows it or if you make it able to jump up stairs!

Trying to connect it to the band at around 47-50% it says lost bluetooth connection then app crashes everytime very disappointed this will not work for my son to use on Christmas morning big waste of money

Christmas morning and force band won't work, thanks sphero. You say to call support but that are down for maintenance on Christmas morning. Well played after you have my $200+

It is searching for a firmware update! I have an LG X power phone. My bb8 works really well. It had a firmware update and it went smoothly. So what gives. Please help

Band connection was good, but every time i running the training at beginning. App crashes. So not able to do any of the other mode

Great app with loads of fun. Does need some better instructions/ tutorials for the less informed. Learning by trial and error.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! After installing updates for hours and not being able to use my phone I finally got to test out BB8. How disappointed my 6 year old birthday boy star wars fanatic son was:( The band is terribly difficult to use. Doesn't react to instructions quick enough or not at all. Which basically means his head falls off at every bump. Pathetic device and I will be taking back and getting a refund on this overpriced piece of garbage

Once you get used to the motion controls it's awesome. Holocron collection seems random but I love it when I find one.

The force awareness application is the best feature if the device. My son love walking around and finding holocrons. Also the control over bb-8 is easier than using the phone/tablet.

Wish they had a sith verxsion though (force lightning and other sith related things) sith holocrons i would totaly buy it if they made one.

Like loaded this app on my daughter's tablet, it keeps turning off within 25 seconds

It is trying to do an update and keeps getting disconnected. This is one of the worst applications I have ever used.

I tried emailing your support team and I dont believe I received a reply. App still crashes.

While it works amazingly with BB-8, and I'm hoping for support for BB-9E soon, The Force Band is an absolute blast to play with a Sphero Ollie! The 180 degree turns, and the speed of the Ollie makes maneuvering so simple. In my opinion much simpler than using the official Ollie app!

I have a question for sphiro I don't have a BB-8 and now I can only shot a blaster and weild a lightsaber for the general combat, and find holocrons for the force. Will it upgrade as I play with it? Please answer me quick I only have 14 days left to return it

App on phone turns off within a minute. Very unhappy :( Tried to load it for Christmas. ......

I am kinda frustrated because it says to look at the app because there is info there but i go on and it says to connect even tho it wont let me

Bb8 does not connect well with the force band and we have to keep trying to connect the bb8 to get him to work.

The app kept stopping during the initial updates after each update what should have taken 1 hour is taking hours the app doesn't recognise the force band straight away and takes up to 10 attempts before I can restart the update very frustrating still not up and running started at 10:30 and it's 13:10 still only 18 out of 64 updates installed

Very easy to use and follow. Yet another great accessory and app for star wars lovers.

Well it lags and the app did not come with armory or anything just the settings and the force training. Waste of space on my tablet.

I think you should update the app with the rest of the star wars series and include the new one like rouge one

New to it, not sure if I can make bb-8 go slower, but I find controlling bb-8 with the force band is actually much easier, very cool toy!!
