BB-8™ App Enabled Droid

I wish BB-8 COULS SPEAK AS IN THE DROID ITS SELF AND I KNOE U GUYS CAUSE A LIL MISS UNDERSTABDING FOR PEOPLE LIKE MY SWLF BUT I WISH IT COULD DO MORE AND IMPROVE ON GRAPHICS AS IN PROJECTION ON SCREEN

Its great I just got a BB-8 sphero and the app works well but I wuld like the compleat old sounds for Bb-8 to make him sound more like BB-8. But I still love this app and my BB-8.thank you sphero for bringing bb8 to life

Love my BB8. What a great way to learn and teach code with this little robot. Love when we watch Force Awakens and Rogue One together, Best. Date Night. Ever!

It would be nice to have the option in controlling BB-8 with a hand held controller rather then using​ g your phone. I have a much better experience using hand held controller rTher the using the phone. I wouldn't mind paying the extra cash to have a controller

Fails to open on galaxy s6 and is bloated with the star wars music. Download took forever and it gets stuck with black screen rifht after showing the bb8 logo.

Awesome on all accounts except the hologram feature.I thought it would b an actual hologram not just on the phone but besides that its pretty cool

It doesn't work with the one plus 3t . The app just keeps hanging when attempting to connect. Shame. hopefully an update will fix it.

Fails to initialize frequently. Bought it months ago and still haven't been able to drive BB8.

Seems ok, but is highest battery using app I have. Keeps device awake for.no reason. Needs to play nice to stay on my device.

Dear Devs, I saw the reply. So I went to settings on my HTC and found htc location services. It ask for my address or work place so before I do any thing silly( I'm 10 )I want to know if this is the right location services. P.S. the location services is on

If you don't have mechanical buttons on your phone this app is extremely difficult to exit-- otherwise it's fine. It's worth noting that the BB8 Droid seems to be compatible with other sphero apps-- which is a big plus for the product itself.

Used to be a great app, works well but now requires location services. Why do you need my gps? There's no reason for that. Well at least there's other apps to control bb8

This is a great app. Great toy, too. Easy to use and really fun. But if you would reply to this, I would be happy. There is no games to play with BB 8. But I don't need games when I have an epic robot!!!

The toy is pretty fun to play with but every five minutes the app says that it has low battery when I charged it for to days!!

Loved it but when I click on an option a white screen appeared and it is stuck on the white screen

I think the interactive and autonomous features of this pleasureful experience are the key to its success. Quite a wonderful concept.

I had fun using the bb8 when I first got it, now it wont connect to my cell phone (samsung galaxy s6 edge) and I am very gutted.

Good app, very cute. My only complaint is that the controls are sometimes not responsive, or send bb8 the wrong way.

After connected to bb-8,it keep on put us at firmware update page and start over the progresd when it reach 99% and this have been keep for 10-15min.

The droid is really expensive but the quality is worth it

Very Very impressive and easy to use. I've had this app and toy for about a year and a half now I can't complain. It does exactly what I was expecting and more. If you havn t got the sphere bb8 it may be pricey but I definitely recommend it especially if you love STAR WARS like I do. I give this app 10/10

My BB-8 is not reacting to the film THE FORCE AWAKENS like shown in the add. I've tried almost everything. But he doesn't shy away when Kyle Ren apears. Or get excited when Han and Chewie apears Please fix

I absolutely love my BB-8. My only critiques for the app are that using the hologram feature can be a bit laggy and the voice recognition is a bit touch and go sometimes. Other than that, the app is easy to navigate, the movement controls are very fluid and responsive and just all around a lot of fun.

I purchased the BB8 for £100 but it won't connect to my Oneplus 3T. I am currently disappointed with this as it should work. Dont NOT buy if you own a OnePlus 3T

The robot itself is amazing, definitely 5 stars for the droid but the app is flawed. The app is frustrating to use. There are 2 issues. 1, trying to open the app getting the opening screen with the bb 8 logo and it saying it's by sphero only for it to go black and the star wars theme to play. If that happens close the app open it again and if that doesn't work trying over and over again until i get past that problem. This may take up to 5 minutes. 2, the white screen problem from the previous draft of this review. Please fix this as £100 is to much if there is not a close to 100% chance of being able to use the app whenever i open it. £100 for a statue

Great product but a poor app. The app itself is functionally speaking fine however it's so overloaded with effects and over the top graphics that the app itself is sluggish and the startup time for the app is abysmal. I'd much prefer an ugly but responsive app than this.

The automatic updates really suck . After two or three updates , the thing just goes retarted and one can not do a thing with the app or Droid . All you will see is a figure of bb-8 going back and forth across the screen with no numbers of progress . Just​ 0's on all aspects. Maybe it's my tablet's fault. If that is the case , all of you reading this better have enough cash for a government type system to get what you want... Be weary.... the automated updates really suck they really should at least give you a option too make the updates or not. Otherwise it's a totally screwed setup.

There is some kind of bug keeping all devices from hearing the movie in watch with me mode. I can see it reading sound. Says wrong mode theb wrong language.

I've had my BB-8 for about a year now. Sure, the 1 hr battery life is irritating, but I still love this Droid a lot. It was totally worth the 150$. The updates are a nice touch and make the droid even cooler. Pair this amazing piece of tech with the force band, and you have a star wars fan's fantasy.

I'm so glad they made a mode for Rogue One! Thanks sphero for doing this! (Hope we will get a mode also for Episodes 8 & 9 and also the Han Solo movie)

After a while my bb8 started going slow and I got bored with it after a while. There should be some games comparable with bb8.

It's cool. I'm disappointed with the messaging. Thought it actually projected a message from the BB-2, but it doesn't. Still fun to drive around, though. Makes me laugh.

Doesn't work with my OnePlus 3T. It meets the specs, but Sphero are too lazy to optimize their app. Customer support said to flash to a previous OS. How about no?
