Speech Essentials Therapy App

I bought this for my son. I was excited to use this to practice his initial sounds between speech therapy appointments. But after installing it a week ago, it has only worked once. It has frozen on the home screen 9 times! I want my money back or the problem fixed!

Looks like a good option for articulation and phonology therapy for an SLP on the go. And for those who do not own an iPad. Lots of options and games help motivate practice. It would be nice to have an option for phrases. Some of the picture/vocabulary options may be more difficult for students with multiple sound errors though.

Is NOT free. They pnly give you one out of all letters then you have to pay for the rest.

Not much impressed. Contains much of complex words for eg learning the meaning of carnivore written in front of lion is difficult for a kid to understand before he knows its a lion. Better but costly app is available on apple store.

I had to uninstall and reinstall after sound purchase but now it seems to work.

It's been stuck on downloading letter b for over an hour. We haven't been able to try the app yet

The developer has updated many words and sentences with images, this has taken this app toa new level. It's very helpful in backing up a speech therapy course.

Had to download again & now all pictures show up. Kids at elementary level love it.

Can't hear the sound on my android phone and i would like to get the payment i made refunded. Thank you.

It says free. YOU ONLY GET 1 LETTER. And you have to pay for every thing else.

Love this app. It has really helped my son. I would love to see some S blend sounds added(SP, SL, ST, ECT) maybe in the future.

App is ok but there are several glitches that are very frustrating.

I think this is a great app, but I would also like to use it on my desktop and I don't see an option for that. Otherwise it is Great. A lot of interaction.

Love the app. Way more content than I was expecting. Only complaint is how long it took to download. Make sure you are connected to broadband and not just using your cellular connection if you purchase more sounds because this app is really big and it will take a while on a slow internet connection.

I love the basic flashcards and sentences but every time we try to play one of the games, it freezes up my phone. I'd love it if my daughter could actually play the games.

Very frustrated I keep losing the pictures on the word cards. I have tried reinstalling it and it hasn't helped. Why have they gone the pictures were all there last week?

It says FREE, but you only get the letter B and have to pay either $1.99 for any other letter you want or $19.99 for all the letters. So dumb.

i paid for all the letters and half of them dont work very disappointed especially because i paid for them and they dont work

Engaging pictures and games. Huge variety of words and sounds! This is a great speech and articulation app!

I was impressed with the amount of images and sounds. Looks very polished. My daughter loves all the games!

This is by far the best speech therapy app on Android. It has several different ways to practice and two different games. Highly recommended.

Force close on marshmallow on note 4 and no sound when taping flashcard

I wouldn't say hated it but I've downloaded twice and haven't had any sound. I have no idea if it's a good app or not.

It has got glitches where it will play music while the app is not open

Hello I purchased this app and its entire alpha for $19.99 a few weeks ago and still the new purchased letters and sounds will not download. Can I obtain a refund?

As you have read in the other reviews B is the only letter that you get with this download. There's a option to buy the full alphabet, and when I went to look it was on sale for $20 not bad at all. I plan on buying it if my son continues to show interest in this app. The only thing I wish they would fix is when I tap on the picture it takes a while or even a few taps before it will say the words. Other then that it's a great app so far and will update as we use it more.

Are you serious?! Only B? Thats dumb. You have to buy everything else for $2? We should get more free sounds. Some people can't afford it! And B? I don't see how anyone can't pronounce b. Horrible thing, there are other speech therapist game things that are better. Waste of time.

Fantastic app. I have started to use it in my group sessions and the kids love it. It does not have the ability to save scores for multiple kids at once, but I prefer pen and paper anyway.

No complaints. You get to try out the B sound for free, so you know what you are getting before making any purchases. I was happy to see that you can isolate the consonant blends as well, this has been very useful when working with a couple of my clients.
