Animals

The SmartEdApp Animals can be used to teach, learn, practice, re-teach and assess the pronunciation and identification of many common animals. Different mammals, birds, insects and reptiles with engaging photos are included to ignite students enthusiasm for learning.

The app allows recording of audio during the session in addition to capturing student scores that can be reviewed and even shared through email with parents, teachers, therapists and other interested parties.

Administrators love that they finally have a thoroughly collaborative tool:

• All work is saved in the cloud meaning that anyone who can access the cloud, can see student progress.

• Preloaded subfolders, such as Birds, Forest Animals, Insects, and Desert Animals, remind teachers that they can differentiate instruction.
• Additional subfolders matching specific learning objectives titled with a students’ name can be created with just a couple of taps.
• Match folder content to classroom instruction, Common Core Standards for vocabulary (RL.4, RIT.4), or science concepts.
