App seems ok. However when i try to advertise a room it says "Please enter your last name" but i dont see where i need to put this in. Will increase stars once fixed.

The messages area is pretty bad. Unable to read or respond at a fair pace

I have had this for a while now and it continues to be my no 1 destination for when I need a new flatmate. It is easy to use, and the premium feature is great if you need to move fast and want early access to new adverts ahead of the free users. Great company 5☆

The site is great but the app does not show all the properties that i see on the site? However if i save the properties from a search, they will appear in app? After response: this does not seem to be the case as i have saved searches for west London that pull back 100s of results on desktop and only 7 on my app...

Changing my one star to four as after trying the website I discovered the reason it wasn't working was maintenance.. however it would be useful if the app also told you this!!

Very simple and helpful

The app is great, although the website is certainly easier to use than the app. Short out on a 5/5 because the Early Bird membership is so expensive, and without it you're very limited on who you can contact. Also I wish I could specify a timeframe myself in which I can move in to a new flat, not just a single day.

Nothing in this app works. I get a notification saying I have a message and when I click to open it fails to load. When I'm in the app and click in messages when it's showing I have some it tells me i have to log in! Needs massively sorting out.

The app itself looks and works well but there are some key features missing from the website version. There's no option to search for rents with bills included which I consider to be a major criteria. There a a few other search terms missing that would also be handy.

I LOVE SPAREROOM ***** BUT this app has bugs. If I reply to a spareroom message via the app I'm logged in right, so I write the message, go to send it, the app then tells me I'm not logged in so I have to logout, login but then my message is gone. AAAARGH. Fix it and its 5 stars.

Good service but poor app; any message alert will cause my phone to stop everything it is doing, even phone calls. It also never seems to know of you are logged in or not. A shame, because the look is perfect.

Website is way better. Searching is really painful, I cannot select my search criteria at all, I have to rely solely what the app suggests, which is usually not what I need. The website allows many more search criteria.

Buggy and doesn't sync saved ads properly or perform saved searches properly, often randomly crashes. Edit:Specifically, when you edit your saved ads on the website, this does not update within the app. Saved searches are not carried out in the area +X amount of miles, but only in the specific area. Even worse it actually adds ads you've marked as unsuitable to your saved ads.

Fairly good selection of rental properties. For improvement I would recommend better filter for selections, such as being able to select the distance from the place you are looking for. Not good when you want a 10 mile radius and it goes 40 miles off. It would also be helpful to select between in house landlord and out-landlord.

Useless app! Website is way better - I already have a registered account yet the app does not recognize my email address. No issues with the website though.

No ability to select property type, no ability to screen the dreaded live-in-landlord. For the exorbitant prices you charge for EBA you can afford to hire at least one competent Dev!

The search options on app are rubbish. You can't search by a specific location. If you type in a city it will show you the result of all the surrounding cities/towns beginning the same post area. Other search criteria doesnt seem to show uo on the app either....if it does it is very awkward!!! There is no way to filter this out and have to resort to using the full desktop website which defeats the whole object of having an app!

There should be a way of hiding your room from people who don't meet your criteria for a lodger. I'd say 90% of calls and emails I get are from folk who ignore the requirements I've listed. Bit annoying to arrange a meeting only for the person to reveal they are a smoker/student/young.

They don't handle complaints about landlords properly. *EDIT* I did get in touch with you a you continued to fob off my genuine grievance!

Please don't waste your time if you want a free service (plenty available) Doesn't post your phone number if you don't pay them, doesn't let you message prospective flatmates unless you pay them, is completely useless at finding you a half decent flatmate unless you pay them

Since it's updated it's gotten faster but the messages need refining. Need a way to favourite and archive chats so you can stay organised.
